I disagree with that too. They have it yet some players have chosen not to play it. Bickell has been much better since the AS break. Mayers is very physical, Carcillo before the injury was very physical. The Top Six is not phsical and was never built physical. Bottome six is NOT as talented as the 2010 team.

When you have guys like Andrew Ladd on your "checking line" you have a pretty awesome team!

Those guys haven't shown up, so we have no physical game.

Some of our top six can be physical. Toews grinds it out, and I've seen Hossa and Sharp grind it out as well. Kane is not physical obviously as its not his game, but who ever the other two wingers can be as well.

Again, I didn't blame last season's playoff loss on physical play. Last season was a culmination of lack of depth, team being tired, certain players not playing up to par...

If you are going to use those players for some kind of point, why did they lose to the Canucks with no Stanley Cup final experience?

The Canucks most certainly had MASSIVE playoff experience and I can answer your question quick. They started the fucking series with TWO working Centers. The MINUTE they got two Centers back they almost did what NO TEAM in professional sports has ever done before.

hows that for your answer?

Not physical like guys like Backass, but guys like Backass aren't nearly as talented either.

I'm just going by the logic you used in your previous post.

True, but as we've seen you don't necessarily need a talented team top to bottom to win the cup (Boston of last year, did help them that they had Thomas no doubt, but weren't necessarily the more talented team of the two).

We do agree on things in some way or another, and we obviously have our disagreement points which are all based on perspective and opinion.

I don't want to keep running in this mud as this turns itself into a two person pissing match and I'm sure we can just agree to disagree...

I mean that as playoff experience, just used the Stanley Cup to further point it out.

I still love ya ****** bag. That Pez guy on the other hand. I've never met a bigger puck hog! I'd bench him but his speed and skill is far to valuable.

And like I said I don't totally disagree with either of you. Just not as talented bottom six as the team they are compared too. Very similar to last years team IMO, and VERY dangerous come playoff time. Just ask Hitchcock what he thinks of the Hawks.

...or don't as I don't have much time to look for Kane pictures of him wearing the "A"...

I think that is true this year as well. You could also add that key players didn't pan out as hoped. I think that is more of a reason of the schizophrenic nature. It seems like when our boys collectively play simple, back-to-basics smart hockey and aren't afraid of a little pain for the win, they can win against any team in the league. If they try to be be cute and play 100% finess and are afraid to take a hit, we lose like the redskins in the 1940 NFL championship.
