It’s dumb. 23 yo first round draft pick that’s going into 4th season. Trade hicks. Trade Mack. Trade veterans with value. Don’t trade developing players unless it’s for a haul.

Id rather have Brown over any of the possible QBs being discussed. Hell, a stud Oline will make a average QB look good as long as he has pieces around him.

Who here has watched enough Ravens games to just know for a fact Brown is a stud?

Brown had a 76.4 grade this year. Leno was 74.6. And they don't get more mobile than Jackson. Brown gave up 28 pressures including 3 sacks and had 5 penalties. Leno gave up 43 pressures with 5 sacks and 6 penalties. Before anyone says that means Leno is worse, Brown pass blocked 593 times and Leno 728 times. So most of that difference in totals is due to Bears trying to throw more. Hence why Brown's pass blocking efficiency is 96.8 while Leno's is 96.5 so virtually identical.

Now does this mean for a fact Brown is not an upgrade? No. I am just suggesting that this may be a case where Bears fans are going off of name recognition not reality. Although it does appear he is more well regarded around the league having made the Pro Bowl the past 2 years. So I suppose take with a grain of salt but not sold on him as a huge upgrade.

Brown wants to be a LT, where he played last year after the starting LT, Stanley, got hurt.

However the Ravens want him to move back to RT because they feel Stanley is better suited for LT and Brown RT.

I consider myself a Ravens Fan, and I think the Ravens have it right, Brown is better on the right. He was good on the Left and he is fairly young, but he was a little slow for the speed rushers.

I would love to have Brown, but I'm not sure how you get him without eliminating the FA QB option or Robinson or even both.

I’m fully aware he can be franchised, however, he is a scheduled FA, no team is going to trade for a player on a franchise tag unless that player agrees to a contract with the new team before the trade is completed.

Too many people throwing AROB’S name into proposed trade deals thinking a franchise tag guarantees a trade deal...
