emery was okay. he did allow a plethora of rebounds all night. I wouldn't pin the loss on him but I did find him shakey at times.

kanes high stick was a highstick. It just was. Its too bad it happened but it can't be seen as a non highstick.

Officials missed a lot of calls on the Flyers there is no doubt about it... they also let the hawks get away with a few. Yet they also called the Hawks and didn't call the Flyers so there is some oddness there. The call on Sharp didn't cause any goals against and frankly on the time line that can not be erased the Hawks scored 2 goals directly after that penatly call. So who is to say it cost us the game and didn't actually spawn the comeback?

Ask why the Hawks opened up the game after they tied it and didn't tighten up defensively and play for the point. That's my question for the team. They literally decided to play an open game and let the flyers match fire power for firepower. Incase anyone noticed that game and this season..the Flyers have firepower and can match ours. Was a really questionable decision in my opinion. I do beleive the Hawks could have shut them down for the remainder of regualtion and played it out for the point. The extra point should have been an OT concern.

Just my opinion.

I thought that Emery was a rebound machine last night. And the rebounds ended up in bad areas.

I had to watch anything on TV that I knew would not include sports to push the last two debacles out of my head. I woke up twice last night and thought about hockey and became half nauseated by the games and had to quickly push it out of my head in order to get back to sleep.

Our team is better than they played in the last couple and you cannot piss away points.

We better fucking win the next couple here.

Grant Fuhr once said he would rather face a shooter from the middle of the ice because shots from the angle are so hard to control. The Flyers shot pucks along the ice to the far side and fought for position for rebounds...I did not see it as Ray being bad, but rather the Flyers being smart and executing a good plan. We just spent WAY too much time in our own end all noght and when we did catch them pinching we did not burn them often enough.
