This was an oddly chippy game. And agreed the officiating was absolutely horrible. So many non-calls on blatant infractions. Too bad that they couldn't win it, but a point anyways.

The slash of Kane without a call trumped by the obvious trip on Stalberg ignited that firestorm last night.
At one point I thought we were going to have an 80's style 3 1/2 hour game. it settled down after awhile.
Probably the worst officiated game I've seen all season.

I thought for sure he went to the locker room. The NHL should be proud they have idiots like that calling games. And even prouder they allowed a non playoff team take cheap shot after cheap shot against a team that's in the playoffs. Dumb **** one and dumb **** two. Terrible.

Apprently they no longer do the jersey off my back. They just give random fans a game worn, autographed jersey.
Another pretty fucking lame change if I must say. This organization does more stupid bullshit now than ever before IMO.

I could see wear (get it?) receiving a jersey that has been previously worn and washed is advantageous to getting a sweaty one right off their body.
Assuming of course that they are giving one jersey away from every player and not holding certain one's back to resell for profit. In other words, so that the jerseys are not just Huet or what was the other one, Lapointe?
Where they handing them out when you entered the building or did the gun beep and you had to go somewhere to receive your jersey?

This gave Emery a chance to do some work, Crawford will be back for sure next game. And yeah, we do need to be ready for any team in the playoff round BUT better with JT and Keith in at 100%. Still really don't want a Nashville matchup first, we don't have them figured out yet. Let somebody else soften them up in the first go around.

The point is the thrill of off my back was going onto the ice and recieving the jersey in front of what ever crowd in the UC was still there watching. That was not done for some reason.
It appeared the players were waiting for it but it never happened. They are/were the jerseys off thier back. And have always been. Sweaty, wet, tainted, it wasn't what made it cool. It was them coming up, taking it off and handing it to you on the Indian Head.
BHM said they gave them to the fans after the game. Must have been behind closed doors in the Hall or something. Although I was back there for a short time and saw none of it.

The guy who sits behind me in the 200's (IHF has met him also) won a jersey. Jersey winners found out when their tickets were scanned while entering.
They announced a few during timeouts for kicks. The best part. They made the winners go down mid 3rd period to line up and missed end of 3rd, OT and shootout. Another fun idea completely destroyed by McDick, Blunk and the rest of those fools.

I have to disagree. The best part of winning the Hjalphabet 2 years ago was how bad it wreaked driving home.

Same with the Lapoint. Andrew wouldn't even hold the bag it was so nasty! HAHA! Still never been washed. I just let it dry out haha!
You always missed the last part of the game lining up, but this time they didn't meet them on the ice for all to see. Not sure why. Dumb IMO.
