Very interesting. He strikes out a ton, but he's also very young. I love Reed but again, unless you are named Mariano we've had pretty god success at putting out closers.
Gotta get those K's under control and an increase of maybe 20% in the BB category. Looks to be well worth the risk

man I feel so much better about our team. Im the most critical but I really cant complain. We moved a young closer who is replaceable for a huge huge need. I really want weiters!!!

Hahn gets that catching situation figured out & a few more arms for that pen, especially a quality left handed reliever.

I love this move, should be fun watching all these young players develop. Davidson will probably hit .260, with about 15-20 HRs and a .330ish OBP. I'm good with that as long as he can play the position and stay healthy, something we haven't had since Crede threw out his back. Reed was a luxury we couldn't afford given our issues scoring runs.
I hope the Sox make a few more moves, most notably flipping De Aza and/or Beckham for a SP or catcher. Weiters is a decent hitting catcher, but I don't think he's worth what the Sox would have to give up for him. He hasn't lived up to the expectations or hype. I'd be happy with a solid defensive catcher who can call a good game and stay healthy. I would love to see them trade Ramirez provided they can get a young SS in return, along with a few prospects.

catching slightly over sp. rhp preferred. if u can insert a rhp into a rotation now with sale,quintana,danks they will be fine. the top 3 are good enough to get it done but are leftys. a nice rh power arm to break it up would be sweet but the catcher is huge right now.

if you move anyone you want to move viciedo. de aza is more athletic, better obp,has pop and would be a corner guy. keep him around
