His contract can't end soon enough. As much as I want the Bulls to do well, I think Reinsdorf getting saddled with such a huge contract with no results is awesome.

He just doesn't get it. He never has.
The hope has always been that with age and maturity, he's start to come around.
But that hope is slowly dwindling.
There was a time when his ridiculous athleticism could compensate for much of that, but that time is probably gone.
Unfortunately, he's not the only one.

At least Rose accomplished something at one point in his career. Nobody for saw the injuries that would derail him. Everyone was thrilled when they locked him up. The only people that were thrilled about Cutler was Packer fans

Obviously. Still nothing like Jay Cutler's contract. Jay Cutler didn't win an MVP award the year before he got paid...he got injured and outplayed by Josh McCown and the Bears didn't make the playoffs.

Probably. But there is nothing the Bulls or Rose can do about it unlike the Bears and Cutler who will eventually have the ability to cut him. Can't do that with Rose.
Accept it, root for him and the Bulls and move on.

To be fair, what do you really expect to hear? I listened to the post game, heard that, and just chuckled. Would you rather have an eloquent speaker or a MVP? Derrick says dumb shit, it has no reflection on his play.
And actually he has been talking about how happy he's been just playing basketball, and how its something he kinda missed. To say that he still had fun is just reassuring that he's still got his heart into it.
