I want him, at times he is so clutch, and he is just always deadly from 3.
We need another true 2 guard. House isn't that guy. If we need a smallish "shooter" guard to rotate between the 1 and 2 we have that in Watson.
That's why you have a 15 man roster. Activate Law or Lucas etc at that point. The Bulls need a 3rd guy that can play the 1 in the event that Rose or Watson get injured.
Then why is ANYONE getting at all excited about Eddie House? If they aren't going to see much PT then why not just kep Bouldin? The bottom line is that right nwo we have no true 2 guard on the bench. Korver will be eating up tons of minutes at the 3 to keep Deng fresh and JJ sucks so I'm assuming he won't see much of the floor.House or RMJ wouldn't see much playing time in a healthy Bulls' roster.
It's not a bad thing to be deep at 1-2 guys or 2-3 guys. And nobody is excited about House. I never said House was the player I wanted the most. I'm just looking at the up-side.
MIAMI -- Eddie House's agent says the veteran guard has agreed to terms on a $2.8 million, two-year contract with the Miami Heat.
Agent Mark Bartelstein said Thursday that the second year is a player option.
House was a second-round draft pick by the Heat in 2000 and spent his first three NBA seasons with them. He has since played for eight other teams, including Boston and New York last season, when he averaged 7.0 points in 68 games off the bench.
The Celtics and Bulls were among several teams that showed interest in House this offseason.
His career average is 7.6 points, and he's a 39 percent shooter from 3-point range, with a reputation for making clutch baskets.
House will be a strong contender for a reserve role as part of the Heat's supporting cast for Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh.
Lol Boozer/Noah will eat up their frontcourt.
Bulls fans, I think it might be time to come to grips with the possibility of a team doing better than 72-10.
