mainstream media fan boy = Worlds biggest meatball

I disagree with the media as much as i agree. However, you really just said you'd take toughness over talent, which is the epitome of being a meatball.

You also spelled Alshon's name like one of the idiot Score callers, you had Mike Richardson over Peanut Tillman, Buffone in a LB corps without Urlacher, Singletary, Briggs or Marshall, and completely misunderstood the difference between a 4-3 LB and a pass rusher.

Awful, awful post.

That statement has no truth at all. It’s actually a mainstream mindset that has ruined the game football for me.

I can list more nasty WR, CB, S or any other position really, that beats out most talent any given Sunday. You like to watch flag football, I get that, but my list consists of true football players. Sorry you can’t see that.

My list is not absolute, You think Tillman should be on it an maybe so. His numbers do back it up. To me Tillman can not be on an island in the 46 defense like Richardson. Tillman would be carved up.

Stop trolling with the Alshon comment, he’s not even a Bear, good grief.

To lighten up the mood I decided to post this thread, called the : ALL BEARS TEAM.

It might seem popular to just say the entire 85 roster, but it’s cool to hear some of the old timer names who played before the 80s. Feel free to give reasons why players are on your list, wether you seen them in person or just because they had an impact on you as a fan.

Here is my list:

QB : Luckman (Because Trubs isn’t there yet)
RB: Payton, Sayers
FB: Red Grange (He can do it all)
WR: Marshall, Jeffries, Gault
TE: Ditka
OL: Clyde Turner, Bortz, Covert, Hilgenburg, John Tait.

DL: Dent, Hampton, Atkins, Hicks (Page depending on the playbook)
LB: Mack, Butkus, Buffone
CB: Frazier, Richardson
S: Fencik, Plank

K: Butler

P: Maynard

Not a fan of the mid 2000s bears? Charles Tillman should be in as a CB over both Richardson and Frazier. And ill take Mike Brown over Plank.

I think his list has a lot of really old players because OP wants people to think he is not as young as he actually is.

The Bears have four HOF LBs and you pick Buffone?

Mike Brown is ten times better than Plank.

Plank was a late hit specialist to pad tackle stats.

Alshun Jefferson and Brandon Marshall were mere rentals. They are not Bears and will bot recieve any dinner invitations to Virginias palace.
Harlon Hill
Morris
hell even Curtis Conway were better than Marshall.

these posers would have flamed if I mentioned Conway. I was going to but most of these posters are just meatballs.

Can’t wait to find some Morris footage

Morris and Hill, the leaders in receptions and TDs, are no-brainers for an all-time Bear team.

Urlacher and Singletary were never great at rushing the QB even if there life depended on it. Singletary wasn’t the best in coverage either. Great tackle production but so was Briggs.

IDK it’s a tuff call.

For those who haven't seen Sayers, do a youtube search for "classic gale sayers." Wow.

Jesus makes me feel old. I watched him in person.

Even in that time period where all players could hit late, none stood out like plank. That’s why he is on the list.

Good list. If i had to change anything I would probably put Tommie Harris or Hicks over the Fridge.
