Not saying we should have kept him, but I empathize with Earl Bennett. Been a tough year for him.

agree...hope he bounces back well from his family member passing (his brother correct?) as well as his release..

what's going on with weems? last I remember readiing he was asked to take a pay cut around the time they asked EB to, they both said no and only EB got released....is that right or did I miss weems release?

Still think Safety is our biggest concern. Conte and Mundy aren't a big improvement over last year. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if they went Dix, Buccanon 1 and 2

Weems is still here. Not sure what happened there.

dont see why they'd cut eb and not him honestly...unless they think his contributions on ST are enough to keep in on....maybe they are going to let him ride until camp and have hiim compete for a spot...

MD Jennings started 16 games and defended 1 fucking pass? Sheeyet. It probably hit him in the back of the helmet.

I seriously doubt MD Jennings will be our starter.

When they signed Allen, and I read they had signed SIX DE's in FA, it struck me as a surpise. Houston will play more than just DE, and that includes Izzy which was "bringing back one of their own", but Lane and Scott were all but forgotten since they seemed to be just camp bodies at the time.

But SIX DE's? You can't say Phil didn't see a weakness. Clearly there are many weaknesses, but he sure went after DE.

MDJ and Conte will be competing for who's the worst at safety on the roster IMO....ftl

Umm NO WAY does Willie Young start over Jarred Allen. bahahahahaha. As much as some of you think Allen will have his role reduced and ol Willie will see a lot of playing time, it ain't happening. Jarred Allen is being paid like a starter and WILL be the starter. Willie is your 3rd rotational DE.
