greinke. also they are loaded with specs. im sure they can get a pitcher in a package of top specs

I guess I could see Shields, but teams don't really trade true number 1 pitchers. Greinke would be a huge upgrade but there are plenty of question marks surrounding him as well.

The Royals have been shopping top prospect Wil Myers but only in exchange for starting pitching, reports Yahoo Sports' Jeff Passan. Earlier this week, Michael Silverman of the Boston Herald reported that Kansas City was known to be at least listening to offers for Myers and top position players like Alex Gordon, Billy Butler, Mike Moustakas and Eric Hosmer. The only untouchable Royals appear to be Alcides Escobar and Salvador Perez due to their team-friendly contracts --- "executives consider [Perez's deal] the best in the game," Passan writes.

The Royals have discussed trades with the Rays, Mariners, Diamondbacks and Athletics, Passan reports. While Myers would be of interest to any team, he is of particular value to low-payroll teams like the Rays and A's given that Gordon and Butler have large contracts and Moustakas/Hosmer are Scott Boras clients.

No matter if our farm was the best or like how it is the worst, there are no untouchables that are unproven. if garza is healthy id give up some better specs for him. i speak in general terms as far as what garza is. I wouldnt (as a GM for any team) give up the farm for him. doesnt mean i wouldnt want him, just dont see him being worth the going rate per the fans and media...but that is market dictated. I would worry about the kiddie park we play in and the homerun ball.

The thing that I've noticed about Garza is that he goes through stretches of brilliance and stretches of maddening inconsistency with his offspeed stuff.

Garza isn't an ace, at his peak he was a 2, now he's probably closer to being a 3. I wouldn't mind trying for some of your athletic OFers and Addy Reed for Garza...I would start by asking for Sanchez though... :buttrock:

CBS Sports' Danny Knobler reports that the Reds are "deep in talks" with the Indians to acquire outfielder Shin-Soo Choo.

The Indians would receive center fielder Drew Stubbs and shortstop Didi Gregorius in return. Meanwhile, the Reds would get another player in addition to Choo.

Choo in that Reds lineup...my lawd.
