The first day of the combine saw a clear frontrunner take the lead in any Justin Fields trade sweepstakes

Talking to teams about trades was expected wasn't it. Atl was expected to make a offer. Other teams will make offers too. Don't think it means much. Gotta listen be dumb not to.

The quote below from the Falcon's coach... which people think Fields being from there, he'd be good fit for the city.

"You want to go get the best fit for your people, you want to get the best fit for your coaches, you want to go get the best fit for our city, and you want to do all those things," Falcons head coach Raheem Morris told CBS Sports on Tuesday at the NFL Scouting Combine about Atlanta's QB search.

He'll improve in the 4th quarter, IMO. 2022 was brutally unlucky for him. That said, he needs a fresh start somewhere else.

ATL would be a great fit.

if this is where he wants to go just get it done. It’s really the perfect fit.

Why do we care if he wants to go there? Get the most in return.
It's just fans feeling guilty that Bears brass let down another QB. However, I'm still waiting to see one QB who has left the Bears who has went on and had a modicum of success. Statistically, maybe Kyle Orton with the Broncos? But they couldn't wait to move on from him...

While ATL is a good fit, I agree with you. Get as much as you can for the Bears.

I think Pudge Poles is being as gentle with this whole thing as he possibly can because he recognizes what a fan favorite Fields is. If he knows his job, he probably also acknowledges the Bears badly failed Fields. So there may be a bit of consideration given to Fields’s wishes. A bit, like “OK we won’t reunite you with Getsy” . . . Probably not much more than that . . .

Jim Harbaugh. And that aint saying much. But he did make a pro bowl with Indianapolis in 1995.

This is a time for lying, smokescreens and bullshit. Don't read too deep into anything. Fields seems like a good fit in Atlanta independent of anything Morris has said and they're in need of a QB. It only makes sense they'd be interested to some degree.

Is something like this possible: a 2024 2nd and conditional 2025 2nd that could become a FIRST if fields meets some type of criteria? Say, starts 15+ games, 4k total yards, and 25 total TDs?

Won’t happen, but it would be great if the Bears somehow got Bijan as part of a trade package.

Roschon would be like, ‘what the hell, I can’t get away from this guy.’

What a crazy good backfield that would be though.
