Because it tastes like shit. Wife made some stuff using it when she was on a health kick and it was all awful. If you want to go low carb just don’t it carbs. It’s literally that simple

I like pancakes and waffles and breaded chicken, I just don't want the carbs.

Do you notice much of a taste difference?

TheY are a little dryer but a great substitute if you want to cut carbs. If you really are cutting carbs add some Splenda. You may have to experiment a couple times to get the taste right.

When I used to make protein pancakes I used it

Now I just stick to oatmeal in the mornings less work

Do any of you use it as a substitute for regular flour? I'm looking to cut carbs out of my diet as much as possible.

Cocunut Flour is better. Almond flour is real grainy and dry. I have made a couple different things with it. Coconut flour had a better texture, but you do taste a hint of cocunut when used. Im kind of at the point where I just dont want any type of bread. Ill save it for my cheat in another 3 to 4 weeks.

Came in here to see what kind of a fruitcake would use almond flour instead of arrowroot flour....now I see it is the same fruity person that would display their ignore list

Have to agree. Learn to do without. Things like pancakes and waffles don't have much taste anyway til you put that sweet syrup on them. Yeah, you can get syrup that doesn't have sugar and instead has some kind of sugar substitute or alternative but you'll likely be disappointed with it too. There are 2 truths about sugar, it's bad for you and there's no substitute that tastes as good.

They actually have better Almond flour now that it has become a thing. Some that is like the old type grainy and not great for making pancakes but alright for breading and frying. Then another type that is processed down similar to standard flour and it is much better for using in things like pancakes.
