i did me 20 minute run, slacked off.. shouldve done 30 but me mentals man.. all dem ccs bullys bringin me down. did me shadow boxing, bag work and physio but skipped out on skipping da ropes. did extra footwork drills and slip line instead. will skip da ropes tomar.
probably gonna run 25 mins slower then do interval sprints on me china exercise bike.. followed by footwork shadow boxing, n bag work.. n jump ropes.
been practicing a inside step jab (not step forward, but to da inside side) to rear cross or rear body hook to da liver to a cus shift outside then rear and lead hook, roll out, pivot to straight. do modify the ending multiple ways.. continue to angle etc....... and/or i sub the cus shift with a dempsey roll after doing a flat L step back almost squaring instead of resetting and take it elsewhere... doing a lot of inside foot stuff lately.. probably cause ive been studying guillermo rigondeaux a lot for whatever reasons
normally just work outside foot a lot.. cause of that southpaw/orthodox match up.. but guillermo was good at the inside foot position.. others too.. maybe inside inside, pivot out ya know..
might try and work in some peek a boo drills tomar.. i dont square n get neutral like tyson unless inside inside at times or when i kind of flatten a L step and stay a lil more neutral n not complete the L step.... but i use a lot of the same shifts, slides and turn to orthodox from time to time.. as tyson would turn southpaw..
