I've just been re-watching some old X-Files since they announced they are starting it up again.

I love good creepy/horror shows.

That was the first season I watched..I missed season 1 altogether..I actually thought season 2 was good(being a catholic and all). I thought the weakest one was this last one "Freak Show"

I know $17.99 is too much, but I cant get into watching shows on my PC. Plus, my TV is 1 floor up and 3 rooms over from my PC so it isnt feasible to make the hookup

I'll wait till season 1 drops in price and buy the disc..Thanks for the info though

Chromecast... assuming you have a TV with an HDMI input.... it connects to the TV via HDMI, it also connects to your home Wifi and then you can cast stuff from your computer to your Chromecast which displays it on the TV. So if you streamed it off a website you would cast that Chrome tab or if you got the files off torrents you would play them in a tab in Chrome and cast it to your TV.

Chromecast has been awesome since I got it.

Chromecast casts wirelessly.. You can even cast off your phone if you wanted. I suggest reading up on it, sounds like the perfect solution for you.

OK..Thanks..My wife has a laptop so we do have a wireless modum...Its in the basement with my PC however and the reception upstairs where the TV is is spotty..That might make a difference

A friend suggested something like a flash stick..download it off the PC and use it in the TV upstairs
