I thought season 3 was by far the weakest. I miss the young maid from season 1

OK..Thanks..My wife has a laptop so we do have a wireless modum...Its in the basement with my PC however and the reception upstairs where the TV is is spotty..That might make a difference

A friend suggested something like a flash stick..download it off the PC and use it in the TV upstairs

Also a great option.... I use that a ton.

I have an external hard drive I put all my TV shows on and I just bring it up or down to either TV and plug it in and both TVs can play the files raw.

Chromecast is nice when I want to cast something that is streaming off the internet or a file that is local on my laptop and I don't feel like moving it to an external HD or thumb drive. But you would need to have a good wireless router with a good strong connection for both the Chromecast(connected to the TV) and the computer connected to the router either wired or wireless.

Idk what your house is like but I have my modem and router up on my 2nd floor in my office and my TV and laptop downstairs in my living room and I can cast video from the laptop on wireless to the Chromecast on wireless without any problem.

Depends on your TV... for my downstairs TV it has a "media" app I have to go into and then pick the External HD and browse to the video file and play it.

With my upstairs TV when I plug in the External HD it will autoplay a menu that lets me pick if I wanna view photos/music/video and if it does not I have to go to the source menu like if I am switching HDMI inputs and I can pick the External HD and then pick to view video files and then play them.

I would bet your TV would do something similar to one of those cases.
