Atlanta has given the max to Joe Johnson. They're locked into him at the 2. This may have freed up Jamal Crawford. If that is the case, perhaps he's a reasonable answer to our hole at the SG.

Thoughts?

Look at the SG's in the league, now compare them to Korver and Redick... Bulls need to address that position and quit fooling around. It's like we'll be trading buckets with these guys. Korver can't guard Johnson, Wade, or even Stephen Jackson.

I think the Hawks would be interested in dumping Marvin Williams to some sucker team that's dumb enough to take on his contract. The Hawks should be ok with Johnson and Crawford on the same team. BTW, as Johnson gets up in age, the small forward position might be what's best for him in the long run.

I hope the Magic matches the offer to Redick. One of Korver/Redick is alright, but both strikes me as team building silliness. If the Magic does match the offer sheet. I think the Bulls should look into signing Ronnie Brewer, demote James Johnson out of the rotation, and bring back Rob Kurz for his three point shooting. The Bulls would still have two very good outside shooter in their rotation, and two very good defender in Deng and Brewer. That seems like the best way to balance out the talent on the roster.

well i'm all for ronnie brewer. next to a superstar point guard, you want a good defender. you'd prefer for it to be a good shooter, but i can take that as a sixth man.

Look at the PG's in the league, now compare them to Fisher and Blake... Lakers need to address that position and quit fooling around. It's like we'll be trading buckets with these guys. Fisher can't guard Williams, Paul, or even Baron Davis.

You can have Korver or Reddick for the threes. Iggy is a good allround guy and should have been an allstar again last season! You really wanna pass on 16ppg, almost 2 steals pg, 4.6 assists pg and 6 rebounds pg? I don´t

Plus he´s from Chicago and we can try to play that hometown card again. :D

hay i'd love to have a guy that isn't reddick/korver, on this team too. j rich might be a better alternative. iggy is on his way out of the 76s, but i dont know where he's going. i think the 76's want something in return. The suns are a bad first half of the season away from rebuilding.

Hometown card? That means nothing with Iggy. He's two years into a bad six year contract and he isn't really a two, meaning we'd have two SFs who are overpaid. This is a bad idea.

is that really that much better than deng...? plus even though deng doesn't get as many steals, he's just as good if not better an on ball defender

The biggest advantage Iggy has over Deng is he's only had 6 games missed in 6 years. Other than that, both are somewhat overpaid swingmen who can't shoot threes. We couldn't really have both on the team, Deng would have to be involved in any trade.

This dude look nice:

I did some research on him and he's willing to take the last shot, block shots, score off the dribble, pull-up. Deng can't stay health, doesn't want to take the last shot, always under scrutiny. I say do it. What could go wrong? Besides, Thibodeau is our coach, someone who lives and die by switching in the zone. Bulls have to do it. Iggy, if that's what they call him, may have a long deal but doesn't looks to sour at the end of it. Deng is well on his way after three head-scratching past seasons.

If you traded Deng for Iguodala, you can't really complain too much. If all the difference between them is a bit of athleticism and height, then you go with the healthier of the two, which is Iguodala. You're not really losing anything except maybe a few rebounds, but with Boozer and Noah, we got rebounding covered.
