Last night Jon Stewart made fun of the Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Def Sec, Leon Panetta, for their rhetoric towards Iran on Sunday morning's CBS show Face the Nation. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-3460_162-57354647/face-the-nation-transcript-january-8-2012/



He was making fun of them because Panetta kept saying that we have certain red lines that Iran should not cross and making a nuke is one of them. Then he went on to say that "they need to know that they should not cross that red line!" He didn't say something more forceful like, "we will take necessary action to bomb the piss out of them if/when they do build a weaponized nuke."

First thing I wondered is if the Iranian government did it to him because perhaps he was thinking of defecting. Blame it on Israel and you have your reason to go to war with them.
