Not lol. This is the thing. Everyone that we're looking at to replace Rose for half the season, the Heat can take and offer a starting gig for a full season playing alongside the big 3. It's a PGs dream, you have 3 huge scoring options to pass to and there's absolutely no pressure on yourself to score because you're the 4th option. This is why Miami getting Nash is a huge possibility and something that we really need to consider. While Rose might be able to dominate whoever it is they get individually, having a great passer like that just makes their offense that much more dangerous. They'd then have 3 playmakers in their starting lineup. We still only have 1.

They can't get them all but they will get one for sure. That will make them pretty much unbeatable. Another reason for the Bulls to make the big move for Howard. It's not a secret that Rose won't be the same player next year and with Nash the Heat will be much stronger.

Rose,Hamilton,Deng,Taj,Howard vs Nash,James,Wade,Bosh

Noah,Boozer,CJ,Brewer,Korver and as many picks as they want for Howard and whatever big ugly contract they want to give us. If we don't want to wait until 2016 (Charlotte's unprotected pick,Mirotic,Rose will be at his best age,Lebron will be older,Wade will probably retire) then we must make a big move NOW.

That is not a pgs dream. You have a lead guard and a point forward. I don't think that is a pgs dream unless he wants a title. But as far as using his skills to help the Miami Heat? I don't know about that.

Chalmers fits perfectly. The Heat will do with the pg position what the Bulls did with it in my opinion, use it for good shooting. They need to focus on that frontcourt. Specifically the center position. Most likely if they lose it will be because of that one position. Teams go 2-3 deep with competent play at the 4 and 5 positions. The Heat have one guy...Haslem could be the 4th guy in my opinion...but not one of your top 2 big men. That is not good.

That is why they are shaky against the West. Teams like the Lakers, Spurs, even OKC, whose frontcourt I am not a big fan of, have superior frontcourts to the Heat.

That's the thing, whoever they get is looking for a title. Yeah you have 2 ball dominant guys already, but they can play off the ball too. They have to...they already play with each other. I think every aging point guard who wants a ring is looking at Miami first. Not us...not LA...not anyone. It's true that they don't NEED a guy like Nash or even Miller because they have 2 guys who can take care of the ball handling, but I think if they see a chance to upgrade they'll get it. Nash is an even better shooter than Chalmers anyway so even if they wanted Nash to be more of a spot up shooter (though that isn't his game as much), that's still a considerable upgrade.

Lebron playing off the ball is twice more dangerous than now. Imagine what you see now from the Clippers by Paul and Griffin from a better passer than Paul and a better player than Griffin. That would be scary. Really scary. I know many of you believe that Lebron is the best at everything including dribbling and passing. But he is not. The Heat's weakness is the C position mostly (I agree with Hou but they can't get a great C) and the PG position. With a player there who can keep the ball in his hands without turn it over and set them all they will become pretty much unbeatable.

Lebron is not Blake Griffin...he is a hybrid of Pippen and Magic Johnson. You could easily put HIM at the pg position and he would be the best in the game at it arguably. You don't take the ball out of his hands. He is not a stand still shooter and his post game isn't refined enough. Same with Wade on a lesser degree. When has Wade had a pure point guard on his team? Jason Williams? Old Gary Payton?

Lebron has won 3 MVPs playing point forward. He is deadly with the ball in his hands...just had one of the NBA's great years.

This made me seriously LOL.

I think Andre Miller's somewhat diminished skills would mesh well with a healthy Derrick Rose. It would probably be one of the best backcourts in NBA history, comparing favorably to the Fat Lever/Robert Pack Denver Nuggets teams.

Absolutely...and it would bring out the best in the second unit. He would help Korver, Butler, Asik and Gibson tremendously.

Very smart and crafty. Wouldn't mind him at all, but if wasn't happy with 25-30 mpg then I don't think Chicago's the right destination for him.

I would take Miller in a heartbeat. His career speaks for itself. He would be a complete, perfect fit for this team as the back-up. This is the type of backup Rose has needed for years. A wiley vet, with a wealth of experience, who had to rely on his incredible passing & court vision skills to succeed as opposed to quickness & athleticism. And from all accounts, he's a good locker room guy too.

If Nash & Billups are too pricey (which they more than likely will be), this is the guy I want.
