Angelo on Ola and Mills

Webb was a 7th round pick. Get off his jock. Y'all make it sound like he was a high draft pick. The fact that he even made the team as a 7th round pick is pretty amazing.

Pretty much sums up why Angelo should keep his yap shut.

Who gives a shit what Angelo thinks. He's probably the last person I would trust when it comes to evaluating players. Especially O-Line.

The Bears drafted Chris Williams, a left offensive tackle from Vanderbilt University with the fourteenth overall pick of the 2008 NFL Draft. On July 24, 2008, the second day of the Bears Training Camp, Williams was forced to leave practice due to back spasms. On August 7, 2008, Williams underwent surgery to repair a herniated disk in his back. The controversy began when on August 24, 2008, it became known that Bears doctors knew Williams had a herniated disk in his back prior to drafting him, yet took an unwise and risky gamble and decided to draft him anyway. Williams eventually began playing with the Bears in November, but received a limited role.

This is the internet, you're supposed to say that you're 6'5" and 250 pounds.

i actually am 6'5 280.

mills isn't that bad. asking him to block wake one on one is a failure of coaching. very few right tackles can handle him 1 on 1. cutler often makes o-lines look worse then they are, as well. mills would be a better fit in a different kind of offense, or maybe at guard.

Mills is struggling right now and long term probably needs some competition.

But he is what we need him to be adequate, cheap and a hard worker. We are going to pay Kyle Long 8-10 million a season, which means you need a RT that does no cost you 5-7 million, which Millls will never be.

Ola has been a pleasant surprise and I want to keep seeing how he develops.

Angelo is a clown. He is to busy covering up 100s of domestic violence incidents to actually evaluate these guys.

Fun Cam Wake story.

When he was tearing up the CFL, I was playing for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, myself and Matt O'Meara were the dressed back up OLmen. Cam wake already had a couple of sacks when our LT when down, we looked at each other like someone had died. All we wanted was for the other guy to have to go in the game. We knew Cam Wake was going to get one of us cut.

Our LT ended up being fine, but it took my asshole 2 days to unpucker.

someone put a muzzle on Angelo, but ask him how all his draft picks and personel decisions worked out...

People comparing Mills to Webb have such short memories. J'Marcus Webb was the worst thing to ever happen to the Chicago Bears franchise.

I thought Webb was playing RT still? And that nobody was challenging him for the spot

Incorrect. That would be Jay Cutler. Jmarcus Webb didn't throw picks against Carolina, Buffalo, Green bay and Miami to totally destroy any chance of winning that we had.

Oh my, that one tiny addition completely changes my perception of the OP.

Unfortunately for you I don't like guys who live in their moms basement and spend most of their day eating jeno's pizza rolls, drinking faygo, and playing world of warcraft.

Angelo was a bad GM- but what's with all the hate? He is accurate. Mills and Ola are sub par.

Mills is the human turnstile. I could bull rush him and I'm 5'6 and 132 pounds.

The human turnstile was a guy named Frank "the tank" Omifail. Worst FA signing we had since Orlando Pace and Archie (though he gets a break b/c his wife is in the spank-bank HOF).

And for the record, Bear Jew was a great prospect and JA correctly drafted him. Obviously he never lived up to expectations but I think any elite GM (that list excludes JA) would have also drafted Carimi in our position.

He's right on Mills, but not on Ola.

Thats true. We bears fans of all people should know to take his evaluations with a grain of salt. JA said it? Well... then its meaningless. He knows nothing about nothing except d-line which he played, and you can see his track record, thats about the only hits he gets.

If you take away his d-line acquisitions, the guy is literally throwing darts and unlucky at that.

This Mills hate is becoming ridiculous:

My thoughts.

I thanked you but Webb could have been a perennial started if he just wanted too. Unfortunately, nobody could make him give a shit.

Hoe does anyone know what Mills can be at this juncture. Perhaps Ola should be starting in his place but only because Mills won't be all he can this year.
