We're getting 2-6 inches today..6 more towards the southern burbs...THey said 6-10 last weekend and we got maybe 3...so I don't think anyone knows what they're talking about.

I'm in Springfield and by the looks of it, we've already gotten 1 or 2 inches since 11. No me gusta.

Well it's here. Visibility down to about 200 yds. Weather.com predicts over 14 hours of this. The 1 ton with the plow is full of fuel and ready to go. Most winters this is fun. I've had enough fun this winter.

I'm still loving all the snow, could do without the single-digit/negative temps though...it makes going out for a smoke at 3am really suck.

**** this. I've been plowing for 3 hours and have at least 3 to go. Have already had to rescue 2 lesser plow trucks. Ford Power! Plowing will wear you down mentally. So many things to worry about hitting. Look at that. 1500 posts.

I live in a townhouse with an association, so I dont own a snow blower, and all I have is a shitty shovel. Anyways, my roommate got stuck in the driveway this morning, managed to get her car stuck sidways in the driveway lol... Soooo I took a sick day.

We got about 4-5 inches of snow here in NW Indiana, but some of the snow drifts in my front yard were up around 2-3 feet.
I love winter and all, but this is starting to challenge that love. I always demand snow up until Christmas. After that? Pretty indifferent. But this winter is just relentless.

We got a dusting of snow here, which did not stick to the roads. Sure enough all the schools were closed or on two hour delays. Color this midwestern boy amazed.

Thats why we chose this area..It has all 4 seasons, just more temperate
