sure. They don't get one or the other at my home. They get both and usually decent treats as we try to make sure our candy is quality and quantity if at all possible.

It's kind of like in Ghostbusters 2 when Vigo the Carpathian fed off the anger, fear, and sadness of New York. As people got more and more negative, the beast grew. My kids got a few of those stupid christ comics last halloween. I snapchatted them to a few buddies and we had a laugh. Then I crumpled them up and recycled them. Hopefully someday they'll be something useful.
