But yes, bees dying are a real problem, though my neighborhood seems to have no shortage of them.
But many people are blaming it on the commercial pesticides we use, such as Roundup.

Anyways.... I have dug a 10 foot wide moat around my Townhouse building and filled it with Ortho Home Defense.... **** insects.

True story:
I nearly took a job for an "internet marketing firm" 10 years ago. Their sole client in their early days (and one of 5 major clients at the time) - Monsanto. After I did some research on what this company did for Monsanto I sought other employment.

This article says that bees are suffering from dementia due to too much aluminum in their system. The contaminated bees have aluminum levels high enough to cause brain damage in humans.

I think that is a strong contributor.
We (human beings) need to take measures individually to help the bee population. The more habitats we can develop, the better their chances are at fighting through, including resistant bees evolving out of this mess.
