Dr recommended me to hit up an Orthopedics Dr. Suspects I have torn my labrum. Anyone been thru it that wants to share his experience?

I am suspicious of this "Dr. Suspects."
Don't be like Kyle Long and avoid the surgery if the doctor recommends it.
How did you tear it is probably the first question I would ask because it is kind of a specific injury and I am sure you would love the chance to tell the story but are probably waiting for the question to be posited to you rather than just have It out there in the original post of the thread you just made.
What an outstanding question. No idea.
At best, carrying the 5 gallon water jugs
Sleep is no left side (it's my left arm). I cannot sit on a chair and place a cup that is on a table right next to me without 7-10 level pain.
Dozens of times a day I feel like my bicep is rolling over my humerus.
If I could only get 50% improvement I'd take it.
The little things in life have just gotten greater importance.
You gonna need surgery to repair it.... should do it before end of year so you can take advantage of any OOP Max money you've already put in.
Unless your health insurance is better for the surgery next year...
Whatever the specialist thinks, I will do. I ain't gonna wait or complain.
I get it that it will be hard and perhaps more pain initially when it's all done. I'd be happy to be back to work typing with one hand in two weeks time
It could be just an age related thing as well. The older you get, the easier the body breaks down. What an outstanding question. No idea.

Those are symptoms (I know first-hand) of a pinched nerve.
