I've heard prayer is good for situations like this. It's a lot cheaper as well.

Last year, partial tears in my labrum, rotator, and bicep. Scar tissue is the enemy. 25 years of boxing and even long duration of compulsive jerking off finally broke me down.

I'm back to 100%, with no surgery and no standard PT. Cost me a shit-of money, but the solution was worthwhile for me:

Those are symptoms (I know first-hand) of a pinched nerve.
You are hitting the nail on the head for me. Last year I had a problem the first lady in the video of the page you linked to speaks of. The pain started in the shoulder and radiated down my arm w/the tingling in the fingers. It lasted damn near the entire year. I let it go for several months thinking it would resolve itself. It wasn't so much the pain as just the annoyance that finally got me to seek help. Went to doctor who told me even though the pain was in my shoulder, it was likely caused by a pinched nerve in the neck. He suggested PT and after 3 visits there, those fucks really fucked up my neck while manipulating it. Went back to doctor in intense pain and was told to stop the PT. Duh, no shit! Then referred to several other specialists for this that and the other thing. Long story short, none helped even a little bit. The last one I spoke to said it was his opinion it was a pinched nerve and that the more intense pain was from 1 or more strains/sprains in the same area. In the end, he could only offer stronger pain killers until it subsided. Complete waste of a lot of time. Back to plan A, wait for it to go away on it's own. Was about a month til the more intense pain subsided and was back to square 1 with the lesser level of pain in the shoulder area radiating down the arm. With that no longer hampering me, I did some neck/shoulder stretches I saw on youtube and things started to get better from there til it all resolved itself.

Pain starts in the socket and radiates to the bicep.

Also have pain in the thumb just above the wrist that radiates to my elbow
Sounds somewhat like that which I described above and how it started with me. As I said it went on for a while and the the pain in the shoulder area would move around every now and then. At times I'd feel it in my shoulder blade, collar bone, neck and even upper arm. When it was in my bicep it was as if there was a band around it squeezing it. And the pain that radiated down my arm was mostly felt in the thumb area. Sometimes I would feel the pain radiate more in the upper arm while other times it was more in the forearm to hand area.

I have not.... my brother inlaw who is a fireman has torn his twice now.

Needed surgery twice.... was out of commission for like 4-6 months each time.

It happened right in succession too.... was like injured, removed from work, had surgery, did recovery and PT, finally got cleared to go back to work.... within 2 weeks tore it again working in an ambulance.

Was weird too cause you gotta be careful with it even after you're out of the gear.... so like he would ask for me to come over to help move stuff or pickup tables/chairs from places for events at their house.... here is this big fit fireman just watching while I load/move heavy stuff.... we always joked about how that musta looked to an observer lol.

Like he's your *****. Own dat shit.

I've had tingling pain, this is far from it unfortunately.

Got to see the specialist today. After some tests and xrays thinks I have a locked shoulder. Says I have a build up of tissue that is limiting my range of motion. *shrug* I am to see a PT 2-3 times a week for six weeks to see if things improve. I am guessing if it does not I will have an MRI

Thinking about going top see this guy cause I am having some issues with my shoulders.

Is this the same type of therapy that you had??

So here's the update. My frozen shoulder has not "thawed". Tomorrow morning they'll clean up the scar tissue, shave down the bone spurs and remove and re-attach my bicep. Hoping that I can finally get more then 2-4 hours of broken sleep for the first time in months.

Dr recommended me to hit up an Orthopedics Dr. Suspects I have torn my labrum. Anyone been thru it that wants to share his experience?

I've torn my labrum in my hip, twice. Long recovery and it never has gotten back to 100%. A good friend had his shoulder labrum done and also has never been "quite right." If it's not causing tremendous pain, I'd opt to wait.

Anyone want to bet that Brett was injured patting himself on the back after telling off a woman outside a planned parenthood clinic?

Can you please describe how your hip felt?

Brett is usually much more concerned about a torn Hymen.

The original injury felt like a loose rubber band stuck in my hip. I never did regain the lateral movement or strength in the hip, but no more pain.

Oh ok, my hip feels achy and fatigued a lot...sometimes it's hard to find a good position to sleep. That's the reason I asked.
