Still, when it comes to White electronics I am not a fan, either. it tends to get dirty and shows it...plus does the Nintendo Yellowing, eventually.

I have a white Galaxy S3 mini as a backup that gets fair use and have had it since launch. No yellowing, dirt is no issue either. The yellowing is from brominated plastic on old grey and beige electronic housings. Not all white plastic housings are brominated.

Don't know what is serious here. But here's my 0.02

When I got my first black phone, I noticed that it was easier to misplace and harder to find. 90% of the time, my phone goes in the same places on my desk/pocket, and in my car. But it's not that 90% that gave me trouble.

With a bright colored phone, it stands out, I can put it somewhere different every time and find it quick without needing to call it.


Other than that, I can find no objective difference. A phone is a phone. If you're worried about how it looks, in an era where every phone pretty much looks good, then something is wrong with the user.

Decent point, but I also think it depends on the backgorund the phone is typically on. At home my black/charcoal grey phone doesn't stand out on our dresser, or in my car where the interior is grey/black, but at work on my desk or at home mear my tech cabinets (which are white), it stands out just fine.

Add to that, what phone *doesn't* have some rubbery plastic day-glow popular color du jure skin that you can get for it from Amazon for like, $3.00?

I know a cow-irker has a white Note 4 (contrast to my black note 4). Not my cup o' tea, but to each their own.

Ok, so the reason I'm getting this new Iphone 6 is that my iPhone 5 has something called "swollen battery". Phone works but the glass is separated from the case. Unit is just over 2 years old and was tied to Verizon. Does this have any value
