Why do people say things like this? Always advertise their Droid when iPhone comes up its weird. You don't think tech challenged people own droids? I say this as someone on the inside of the industry (no not retail) I'm just curious.

I hate IOS, the company apple, and the way there phones operate. Android I don't have to stand in a line for a phone, I can customize to my hearts content ( have old newspaper font wacky colors widgets everywhere etc.) Apple is a simple IOS that is "dumbed" down and everything is done fro you. Android is a different story. My uncle has an iphone thing does everything for him he doesn't have to watch apps, etc I do. I know tech challanged people own "droids" I don't own a droid btw GS3 is not a droid. I personally see Apple as "Crapple" old os that sells cuz of marketing. Ask me the majority of the peple that stand in line for an IPhone don't know squat about it. Hardware is shit compared to what I have. Software is talked up yet everything they have is already used in some form be it an app or another phone. Most people want it just cuz it's the Iphone, it's cool etc. Apple has a marketing department like no other but there stuff sucks to me. Theres always an idiot with a droid or an iphone but you talk to an android user most of the time they know more about there phone then just the name of it.

Personally, it doesn't matter to me, up until someone makes the claim that one is clearly superior and the other is clearly inferior (LOL at such claims, because there is some subjectivity and economical flexibility to it.) But in this case, apple doesn't compete with a single phone, but literally hundreds of different phones. You can get whatever you want in the market place. Except for me, I have yet to find a phone that comes close to the specs and features that I like, but I'm not a teenager that drives the market.

The brilliance of Apple is litigation and marketing. An Iphone4S runs roughly 512 MB of RAM. My Galaxy runs nearly 2 GB of RAM. An Iphone has an under 1.0 GHZ processor mine has a 1.5 GHZ processor. My battery gets me over 2 hours of screen time every day and lasts from dawn till whenever I go to bed. Mine is far more customizable compared to ios where its the same thing every time tweaked slightly to keep it fresh to the crowds. Mine has a comparable if not better camera then an Iphone. Bigger HD Super Amoled Display with amazing picture. To me and only me cuz it's my opinion, I'd take a Galaxy S3 before any piece of equipment that Apple offered me. I love to learn about what my phone can do, I find new things every week on this thing and I love it, it doesn't get dry and boring

See that's just it you love to learn what your phone can do. You love to tweak it, customize, optimize ect. You love big screens, and learning about tech and operating systems. Android is for you. It can be an incredibly individualized phone if you're willing to put in the time.

Or you can buy an Apple, simple phone everything is setup for you. You just grab it and go right out the of the box.

Can you not see why it is successful? People like easy.

Hey derosa, now do you like your iP5? My girl just got a new Verizon phone and I think I'm gonna get one too so we can share a plan. That's an easy way for me to justify upgrading to the new one even though I've only had my 4S for a few months.

well from what ive read iphone 4s with with the new ios is basically the same as an iphone 5 except with a smaller screen and smaller processor, probably other shit also. but if you can get the upgrade then go for it... i wouldnt spend 800$ for it if you already have the 4s, but if its only gonna cost you 200$

i love my iphone 5 but i upgraded from a fucking 3g, upgrading from a 4s isnt really much of an upgrade.
