Agreed I have the 4s maybe that's why I wasn't to impressed with it. I honestly like the look and size of the 4s better. I'll probably keep it until 5s.

I don't think I'll be totally overwhelmed by it either. I can't use the 4S that I already have. They would give me a 4 for free or I could choose between buying the 4S or a 5. I got the 4S from Cricket as soon as it came out and I love it but for the same price my g/f and I can get LTE and I can get the iP5.

They sell an 8gb 4 and a 16gb 4S. They released them at the end of June but haven't really advertised it.

Apple haven't changed anything big to iOS since it came out in 2007, Android Jelly Bean is the KING of mobile devices.

I'm running jelly bean on my tablet. It's amazing how much better it is than ICS (JB is 4.1 and ICS is 4.0).

I still don't understand how Apple thinks vomiting icons everywhere is somehow UI design.

I don't think you can really beat WP8 for usability right now, though Jelly Bean is a nice update, running it on my OneX variant.

Is jelly bean really that good? My main problem with my old android was the battery life. It constantly died like 3 times a day and I think it was because so many apps were constantly running.

Ill admit I don't like putting effort into making my phone work. I don't want to root or jailbreak, I don't care about NFC yet either. I'm perfectly happy with my 4s what makes jelly bean better for somebody like me?

Oh and I work from home so I'm hardly ever in public so using the iPhone has never been about a status for me, however I think the iPhone 4 is the best looking phone ever made, plus I like the screen size.

I'm not tryin to change the subject , but does anyone REALLY know when Sprint is gonna have good service again ? Or is all the " we're updating our towers " talk just a big jerk off ?

You do know that basically every Android phone that comes out has LTE on it for basically a year now right?

Jelly Bean is supposed to be amazing, project butter is supposed to make it flawless, google now, updated os, better batter, btw my battery is amazing, I'll grab 2-3 hours of screen time a day, while having sync on for email, auto brightness, data on, etc. thing lasts me all day on one charge, sometimes on real busy days I'll need to charge a bit later in the day but not much, another thing, it's really not hard to get used to Android, you can tweak it as much as you want, but if you wanna run stock go ahead, you don't have to change a thing, you can leave your home screens blank or anything, it takes a whole 5 minutes to set everything up, I run a different launcher with custom text specific apps doing phone functions, and specific home screens that are set up to make everything easier for me, getting all your settings correct may take a bit longer, for me it took about an hour because I was multi tasking a lot. I have the Galaxy S 3 so it's expensive has a great battery and is the "best" out there right now. But here's a link about Jelly Bean, can't wait for it to hit the US so I can get it.

Yes? Doesn't mean every city has LTE service in it. Why do Android users have this aggression? It's like you're angry if people simply like their iPhones. They have to be morons no other reason is acceptable, it reminds of Sega vs Nintendo in grade school, grow up. (Not directed at you I just read this and I wrote it wrong)

Thank you great answer. It sounds like android now has a great balance that I will check out. I have a galaxy s2 that I think I can upgrade (this is the one with horrible battery life when I used it). I will try it tonight and see if it improves.

Also I chose the regular s2 not skyrocket a year ago because lte killed battery life. Has that improved I hope?

I'm not sure, but it was reason enough for me to jump to Verizon. I'll gladly pay 10 bucks more a month to actually get 4g, unlike sprint where I'd have to pay extra for a 4g phone even though my area doesn't get 4g.

...Tapatalking

I am not a fan of how windows looks but I haven't seen 8 yet. 7 looked like a fisher price toy to me on the screen, big blocks very boring. But I know a couple people who love it, just not my taste personally.

I'm not angry, or aggressive, I'm simply stating that LTE is a normal thing with android. You made it seem like "hey, the IP5 has LTE you should get it if your in the right market cuz its new" just how I read it maybe I was wrong and I apologize.

I don't have LTE in my city yet, but I'm on AT&T running HSPA+ which is 3.5 G and it doesn't kill my battery at all.

Also I chose the regular s2 not skyrocket a year ago because lte killed battery life. Has that improved I hope?
The GS3 has a 2100 sized battery, compared to the Skyrocket that had I believe 1800, and the original S2 which I believe had either 1500 or 1600 so the battery is bigger now

I never really gave WP to much thought, back 3 years ago they had I believe WP 6? I went with the dumb phone cuz Android wasn't that great and I don't like Apple. But I don't really like their OS seems to simple and boring for me

I was responding to the poster who was debating about 4s and 5. In my opinion the two big differences are screen size (which personally I like the 4s better) and LTE. It wasn't a question regarding the other phones so I didn't answer it that way.

I understand if you don't like apple, luckily choices exist that should satisfy everyone. I just hope I showed a couple of reasons why apple could be a good choice other than the douche factor of having it.
