I saw AC/DC, thought it was pretty bad ass. Regardless, if we're talking the epitome of what rock n roll is, which is what Despbro claimed Born to Run to be, Back in Black is up there. I would put Master of Puppets and Metallica's self titled album up there as well. If we're talking best rock album ever, it's Led Zeppelin's untitled fourth album in my book. I wouldn't argue with Houses of the Holy or Physical Graffiti either. Dark Side of the Moon, The Doors, Who's Next, etc., these are great albums that I can listen to all the way through. I can't do that with Born to Run.
I just don't understand why Despbro gets bothered by the notion that people don't have the same taste as him. It's like he needs validation on his Bruce obsession, over just enjoying the music. I don't give a shit what anyone says when I tell you Presence is one of the most underrated albums of all time. That shit is insane. I can listen to Achilles Last Stand all day.
Also, re: on Zep, I consider them the best rock band of all time. They essentially created two genres of music. One was Heavy Metal, and the other was a direct contrast to their type of music and style, which was Punk. I think it was the Clash or Sex Pistols that hated Zep, and I know Johnny Ramone gives Communication Breakdown direct credit for creating the Punk sound of the Ramones.
