Don't mods have some sort of logs for this? I thought it was you, and then the BB ban from B&I, or MassHavoc because he's new and maybe less tolerant about this sort of thing, but it turns out that guy is banned by some sort of accident. Now I'm pretty sure it's dany, because nobody knows anything about him. CSS is getting totally strange with this modding and merging and forum specific banning. Now Grimson is banned (duh) but that probably wasn't dany because they are boon coons from IHN...

I agree with this. I **** with you just to be an asshole.

These guys nitpick everything you say. It's unreal.

Back on topic though. .. I think people from Wisconsin are a bit more weird. I stopped at a McDonald's in racine one time on my way to my buddies new house in Milwaukee and it was fucking awkward.

Don't order chalupas at McDonald's next time!

I think I qualify as a blue collar guy, I've worked construction for a few years(residential and commercial), I recertified propane cylinders at a shop before that for a bit. I then went out to the oilfields when I was 23 and worked on the rigs for 12 years, it don't get much more blue collar than that job.12 hour days of sweating your balls off or maybe even freezing your balls off if it's winter, it's not an easy gig and quickly "breaks" lots of people.

Yeah, **** that. I wouldn't even bother. Ultimately, I'd like to open my own liquor store or something.

I once worked 54 consecutive 12hr graveyard shifts. It's not for the faint at heart ... 9 out of 10 guys quit within a month or so, of that remaing 10% I'd say only 25% of those make it past 6 months.

I've done a lot of "blue collar stuff" over the years. Sometimes I miss it, but mostly on the mental side of things (e.g. not thinking about work 24/7)...when you're done, you're done. Might be physically exhausted but at least there is some sense of being able to shut off.

Even though I guess I'm technically "white collar" at this point, I mainly roll around in t-shirts, jeans and my trusty pumas....unless I gotta meet someone where appearances are important. But **** that shit generally. If I want to show up to work in shorts and flip flops, I fucking will.

I am 100% with you nvan. I can't say I miss everything about the blue collar work I have done. I typically had the most terrible mind-numbing blue collar work just to get myself through school. Apartment maintenance, video store, landscaping, waiting table, cook, washing dishes. The only thing that got me through that boredom was knowing school was taking me somewhere. There are plenty of blue collar jobs that require thought and require a ton of skill, I just never had one of those.

The worst thing about the "cubicle" job I have now is that work never ends. My brain is occupied by work all of the time, and you can never just leave your job for the weekend. When I mowed lawns, I was done when I was done.
