I don't understand why it is so embarrassing to support Justin Fields. I am not dying on a hill by any measure, I am rooting for a young and talented person to succeed because he is likeable and plays for my team. Anything less is a version of cynical that I just don't find sensible.

Bears may never be in this position again tho. Nothing wrong with resetting the qb salary.

Most of the NFL teams that paid up are probably looking for a refund anyways, heh
We can trade back a little and stay in this position for years.

It IS weird.

But many CCS posters will wish death on other fans that RIGHTLY criticize Fields.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You've never rightly criticized Fields, you've just whined about him since day one.

The best thing possible for the Bears is if Fields keeps turning the corner towards the end of the season. Everyone who’s an actual fan should want that to happen.
If they keep Flus (hard IF) I think you ride with Fields. Don’t throw a rookie into this mess, take some bonafied talent with two first rounders while building the roster.

If they hire a new coach and he wants his own QB, then go that route and take Maye/Williams (hopefully Carolina’s pick puts them in position to do this)

This isn’t that hard

The best thing is for the Bears to get complete data on Fields regardless. I just want the Bears to keep building the team around him so if he isn't the guy, the next QB isn't walking into a complete shitshow. But ppl like @Black Rainbow just want to keep doing the exact same thing the Bears franchise has been doing that has them as one of the worst franchises in the NFL for the past 30 years.

None of us want to admit it, but this is looking like classic Bears. Keep Flus, draft new QB, team sucks, clean house, new QB now has two coaches/two systems/not the new coaches guy and round and round we go.

So Poles and Flus don't get their own QB?

Fields is another Pace trade up mistake.

I’m 100% on board with firing poles too. New GM, new coach who picks his QB. Get everyone on the same page finally. None of this arranged marriage type situations between QB/coach/GM

I've been posting elsewhere and I find it shocking how many Bears fans want to trade down again. Meanwhile, rookie CJ Stroud passes for 470 yards and 5 TDs on a team that won 3 games last year. Houston is .500 now. A star QB will make a bad team average. Stroud might finish his ROOKIE year with more career wins than Bustin. 🤣

How far are you going with your delusions?
First off, and I mean this with all the disrespect, **** you and your Justin Fields hate. Good. I feel better now.

After Fields looks like he did before the injury, you still have the gall to say get rid of him. **** the **** off and keep on fucking off with the bullshit. Let the rest of the season play out, and watch him win more games. We trade down. We look amazing with MHJ, whatever player Poles fleeces the next team for, and the BPA at our second first round pick.

No QB in NFL history was winning those first three games this season. Quit the bullshit.

For a few years now the off season is much more interesting than the season itself. I believe the upcoming off season will be the craziest and surprising of all. I have no idea what if anything they are gonna do at GM, head coach and coordinators, quarterback, and draft picks.

You are putting waaaay too much importance on the start dates of HCs, GMs, and QBs being on the same year.

That's absolutely silly. Stop and think about what you're saying.
