Sorry bud. Depression is a weird thing that can strike at any time and doesn't even really need a reason or cause. Thankfully there's a healthy amount of free resources (thanks stupid libtards) that are available across the country. Therapists to talk to, group sessions to attend etc. Sometimes it helps just to talk, or listen to another's story. I'd be happy to help you locate something like that in your area if needed.

I can tell you one thing from personal experience; stuffing that shit to the back of your mind does not work. It will only manifest itself later in an even more pronounced fashion.
Thank you for the concern, it means a lot and I’m thankful there are good people in this world like yourself. However my university has a great counseling program that I will be using in the fall when I return there. I’ve been prescribed medication to help with it before but ive never had the counseling to go with it so I was never comfortable taking the meds.

I’ve been debating whether or not to post ITT because honestly I’m not happy. I’ve had depression for about 4-5 years now and it’s been tough, but I’ve been trying to get through it by focusing on the positives in my life. My brother’s health has been steadily increasing, he has a systemic disease, one of my close friends and I are about to move into our own apartment together, the Bears are good, I got a job so I can make some money, and I will be going on a cross country road trip soon. I’m not delusional enough to think I’m a popular poster, or even a well liked poster here, but this place has been a great place to talk about things I enjoy like the Bears or Game of Thrones and put whatever shit I have going on in my life on the back burner for a little bit, and for that I’m very grateful for all the posters here, even the ones who don’t like me. Also thanks to @Fatman LOU for creating this thread so I can genuinely say thanks to all the posters here.
What's up brother.

For a bit over a year period in my life I was also depressed, from the age of 12-13/14. I was never diagnosed or anything but had I been to a therapist or someone of the like I'm quite certain I'd have been diagnosed with clinical depression. I'm also a naturally very anxious person, and from what I can tell, the level of anxiety I used to experience was pretty far removed from the level a "normal person" experiences, which means I might have something going on there too.

What really pulled me out of my depression/anxiety fueled funk was exercise. I joined the track and cross country team when I got into high school, and the exercise routine that's inherent to the sports changed my life. Within a few months my depression was legitimately cured. I just felt so good after running (which was 6 days a week) that it kind of fixed whatever imbalance or whatever it was that was causing me to always feel down. I haven't been depressed since, even though I don't run regularly anymore. So I just really recommend that you take on some form of exercise (especially cardio) if you're not exercising regularly. I'm not saying that it'll have the same impact, because everyone is different obviously, but it can really help. Exercise has been scientifically proven to help with things like depression/anxiety, and even with really severe mental illnesses (not that depression isn't severe, it is) like Schizophrenia. As human beings we have evolved to exercise.

Also, as Novak said, talking to a professional is something that can really help. I've never done it myself, but there was a point that it definitely would have helped me. Society puts pressure on men to not talk about these issues, but that's all bullshit. We're all people and we all need some help at times.

Feel free to PM me whenever you want my man.

Lots of good stuff going on for myself to be happy about nowadays

- Received a mid-year promotion (after being passed over for one that would have taken me to Chicago )
- Finally decided to ditch my beater of a car. I do miss it tho
- Wife had a health scare with her eye, all good now though
- Heading to the lake in a few hours to see the parents for a few days

Almost forgot - probably the best thing going right now. I have my student loan balance down to 4 digits!

Have a great 4th @everyone (even @Urblock )

Exercise is key. And nobody dislikes you here. I attack your posts, not you. But it is easy to forget sometimes while online that everyone else is a human being also, with their own shit to deal with. I wish you the best, and my minor suggestion is, walk away from the computer sometimes. Staring at this site for days on end is not good for the soul. Or any site really.

My problem was i never talked to anyone about my depression. After losing 2 sisters and a brother and another sister who was the only survivor in a horrific car accident ( my age at the time was 5,14,16,and 18, i was mad at the world, and like i said in the beginning. This carried into two decades and cost me two failed marriages. It cost me friends as well.
The doctors prescribed me anti-depressants , but the damage i caused in my marriages was too late because i held t all inside me . I should have been dead or in jail, that's how bad i was . But i didnt want to be on anti-depressants anymore and accepted what i went through and came to peace with it . I think more than anything else time straightened me out, along with surrounding myself with good people who cared for me, and a woman who believed in me .
@Novak is right you have to find someone professional to talk to .
@Briggs is GOAT , also i believe is right that exercise will help out immensely. Joining a gym and pumping iron work for me .
@WestCoastBearsFan , you're right also, there are some good people here.

@WestCoastBearsFan and to all who may be having a bit of a rough time right now. This is a study that shows exercise is effective in reducing symptoms of depression, as well as effective in lowering the chance of relapse.

The exercise component was huge for me (@WestCoastBearsFan long story short, I've also battled depression), because it crosses off a lot of things on the list:
A. Self-improvement. Whether it's improving cardiovascular help, losing some of your waistline, increasing muscle mass - exercise has tangible and measurable results
B. Natural releasing of seratonin (I know there's more involved with seratonin)
C. Whether you're going to the gym, running on a trail, or doing whatever - exercising can lead you to meeting new people who have at least one shared interest with you.

There's really no downside to it, except the initial fatigue and soreness. Even still, I'd image most people (and certainly myself, anecdotally) have a sense of accomplishment after working out.

Wouldn't want to derail that thread.

Your dumb-ass needs to read this slowly and carefully:

RIP Sandy Hook kids, vaccinations for all, and keto is for the weak-minded zero-disciplined hogs that just let themselves go.

Respect. I think I just had a keto lunch (not by design) - threw an egg into each half of an avocado and inserted into a pre-heated (400 degrees) air fryer for 10 minutes. Topped it with salt, pepper, and some cilantro from the garden. So good.

Like I said, brother, I've answered him plenty of times before. Dumb people will never comprehend. I'm not anti-vax just to piss people off. I'm antivax cause I don't turn my head and ignore the fact many children have been injured, had their lives ruined and even been killed by every single vaccine out there. I'm anti-vax cause I know of the fakery used in the propaganda constantly put out to prop them up. I'm antivax cause while they want to pretend the measles is one of the most dangerous things on earth, I know when I was a child nobody feared it or thought of it being anything worse than the common cold.. just a bit more embarrassing with those red spots all over ya. I'm antivax cause I can look at the ingredients in vaccines, as anybody can if they cared enough, and know not a single thing in them is anything you want injected into a child. I'm anti-vax cause I'm aware most involved in measles outbreaks, even today after half a century of an incredibly high vaccination rate, are those who've been vaccinated. I'm aware of how the polio vaccine cause major outbreaks of polio-like disease and even injected millions with cancer in the form of SV40. I'm aware of the 20 fold increase in whooping cough after the vaccine was put into use. I'm aware of the tremendous increase in cancer and other diseases and disorders in general since mass vaccinations began. The overwhelming majority of others aren't aware of any of that and only know what they've been brainwashed with.

With 9-11, I've pointed to a plethora of things that prove the official story was BS. And don't forget, family of the victims were among the first to organize and question the bullshit story and did that cause they saw what I and many others saw and wanted the truth. With, SH, saw the proof of photoshopped images, later admitted to, used for all of the claimed victims. Nearly all interviewed in mainstream media were known to have multiple aliases. Saw how Gene Rosen's story was scripted and shown to be rehearsed and made zero sense in the first place. There would be no cause for such a plant in a real situation. No mass exodus, no blood, no nothing. I'm not the only one who has recognized it. There's been many but unless you have knowledge of all those things and had the balls to question it, your ignorance and fear of questioning it would make it a useless thing to discuss with you. I can't make anybody take their head out of the sand.
I challenge you on 9-11 and anything to do with the pentagon scenarios. I can give you eye witness testimony to what i saw and what a co worker of mine saw.

Also, Are you delbjork? Is Spartan your main account and you only tickle your toes in the conspiracy waters and with Delbjork you went full tin foil hat?

Also, I can create a separate thread for discussion. I aint looking to bash you for your beliefs. But you come across as a righteous person and a civil discussion.

His failing is his surroundings, his team has let him down.

Anyone existing in such a fucktarded bubble needs family and/or friends to set them right when they veer this far of course into delusion. The people in his inner-circle have abandoned him and left him to his mind-rot.
