A bit of rain moving in that may screw with my softball game :fist: but the Cubs game should be fine. Fucking hot out.

Strange how you guys are so hot the past week or so... and out here near the desert in W. Texas... we've actually dipped as low as 89 in highs. The same area that was topping 105 when you guys were still wearing heavy coats in the lake-effect snow of late April/Early May.

That's quite a lineup. I'm just glad Kerry Wood was around to rescue Dawson from the ivy or he would've never made his appearance on Wednesday.

Well apparently rescheduling is not an option. The next offday the D'Backs have would result in them play 30 straight games, and for come reason a double header isn't an option. I am guessing we are going to be waiting a while on this one.

Sori with 2 homeruns today to bring his season total 17 homeruns. You really mean that none of the teams that are desperate for right handed power couldn't use that?

Soriano is in straight beast mode tonight! 3-3 2 HR's and 4 RBI. First one landed on Waveland.

Nice piece of hitting by Rizzo and Soriano just slammed one to center. 2 HRs for Alfonso. It's a shame that he's likely going to be gone soon.

Liking the Cubbies offense tonight. It seems we have runners on every inning. And coming up with some big hits.

That's three straight really good outings for Maholm. I'm thinking the odds of being able to flip him for something useful is going up. The Cubs are going to be mighty bad once Garza, Dempster and Maholm are traded.
