signs with Dolphins -- 5 years for 87.5 million
If an often injured 31 year old Mack is not a fit, neither is an often injured 31 year old Armstead.signs with Dolphins -- 5 years for 87.5 million
I agree, plus way to much coinIf an often injured 31 year old Mack is not a fit, neither is an often injured 31 year old Armstead.
Poles did what he had to do, he passed.
We're the Bears and we suck! Let's keep nitpicking at all of these guys who would be a HUGE upgrade!!!If an often injured 31 year old Mack is not a fit, neither is an often injured 31 year old Armstead.

Poles said that he was going to be a bargain hunter. When Armstead became too expensive for a part-time player (when was the last time he played a whole season?), Poles did what he said he was going to do.We're the Bears and we suck! Cool. Than the Larry Borom discount special it isPoles said that he was going to be a bargain hunter. When Armstead became too expensive for a part-time player (when was the last time he played a whole season?), Poles did what he said he was going to do.
Believe it or not, but Borom was pretty good in the limited time he was out there. Obviously not All Pro level, but better than bottom feeders that are still starters on some teams.Cool. Than the Larry Borom discount special it is
Another ridiculous statement from fans.....Are you claiming the Bears don't spend money on free agents or part with assets? When I hear that the Bears are too poor...
• Bears 3rd in overall Dead Cap money
• Bears franchise gained over $500 Mil in valuation between 2020-2021
• Bears revenue in 2020 ( during COVID ) dipped to 370 Mil
( down only 100 Mil from the previous season, but doesn't account for TV/AD revenue sharing – which grew 14% )
Rebuilds don't take years if you're willing to part with your resources. It's the latter part of that statement that's tricky for our team's ownership.
Nobody ever questioned the value of the franchise! It's the cheap ownership's unwillingness to spend ( and outbid other teams) that seems to be the issue. One issue where this is really evident is how we spend on HC'sWhen I hear that the Bears are too poor...

Signing a DT to a contract with $26 mil guaranteed is not bargain huntingPoles said that he was going to be a bargain hunter. When Armstead became too expensive for a part-time player (when was the last time he played a whole season?), Poles did what he said he was going to do.
Yes, but that specific position is critical to the defense. Are you happy that they now have a new DT that does not fill the most critical position for a lessor cost?Signing a DT to a contract with $26 mil guaranteed is not bargain hunting
hey everybody, read this and try to comprehend it. I've been fucking saying for years now that Pace started recklessly blowing money and trading picks away for seemingly little return. I'm sorry but the Chicago Bears are going to have to tough it out with a cut the fat year. the ultimate goal is winning the Super Bowl right? well they weren't going at all anyway in 2022. get over it.Another ridiculous statement from fans.....Are you claiming the Bears don't spend money on free agents or part with assets?
That is all they have done for the past 4 years. They can't spend over the cap.
After 4 years of spending up to the cap, trading away assets for expensive top tier players...we get these gemsNobody ever questioned the value of the franchise! I never heard poles say he’s going bargain hunting unless it’s for a critical position. He went against what he said he as going to do. Period. So stop trying to push the narrative that poles did what he said he was going do. He went against what he said he was going to do. So obviously we now know what he said was not true.Yes, but that specific position is critical to the defense.
