A's draw like 25 fans a game.

They really need their own ballpark, instead they play in a shitty football stadium

The neighborhood surrounding their stadium doesn't help, but then again playing in Oakland doesn't necessarily bring in waves of fans either.
It's been a while since I've been in Oakland but are there good neighborhoods in Oakland?
The stadium has a huge parking lot which is great for tailgating before Raiders and A's games, and is very conveniently accessible by public transit, so location isn't an issue really. It's more the fact that the stadium is crap and the team is also crap.
Yeah...closer to the hills though.

Like I said it has been a long time since I've been in Oakland. It wasn't Detroit, but it wasn't good was my recollection.
Is that The Oracle next to O.co Coliseum?
Speaking of Oakland...Miguel Cabrera started a pretty nice 5-4-3 double play. He doesn't completely suck ass at 3B.
Yeah maybe that Jim Leyland guy knows a thing or two about baseball.
I think he figured Miggy would produce more runs than he lets squeak past him.
I agree that is probably what he was thinking, but there were a lot of people questioning whether that would be the case at the start of the season.
