Pau Gasol for Sessions and Varejao? What? That makes no sense for the Lakers.

Amen!!! What the heck is Dallss thinking? Haywood is a bit overpaid for his role because Chandler kind of fell in their laps...but the two of them were a solid advantage for the Mavs in the playoffs. Now you trade him for Marvin Williams? Don't get it...

That deal makes no sense at all to me either.

Love this deal for Orlando, they will be real contenders. The Defense of Kirk, athleticism of Smith and the Freak that Dwight is, they will be fun to watch.

Which is why it doesn't make sense. It's loaded for Orlando and doesn't do anything for the other teams involved. No reason to believe that Dallas or Atlanta would agree to such a deal.

Tony Parker could head to Sac for the 7th pick. More players would be involved and the Spurs no who they would take with the 7th pick.

Jimmy Butler wants to wear No. 21

Chicago Bulls first-round draft pick Jimmy Butler plans to change his number from 33 -- which Chicago retired in honor of Scottie Pippen -- to 21, and he plans to work out with fellow Marquette products Wesley Matthews and Lazar Hayward.

"I'm going to get with my former teammate Wesley Matthews, Lazar Hayward, and work out with them," Butler said Friday on "The Carmen, Jurko & Harry Show" on ESPN 1000. "They've been through this, Lazar for a year, Wes for two, and we're going to see. I just got off the phone with Wes, and he's talking about going up to Wisconsin and working out, so I think I'll be in the gym a lot."

The last Bulls first-round pick to choose No. 21 was Marcus Fizer in 2000. Fizer was the No. 4 pick while Butler was the No. 30 pick on Thursday.

"I'm absolutely fine with changing numbers," Butler said. "We'll try to make a new legacy with my new number. I'm thinking 21."

He was also thinking about No. 1, which is worn by MVP Derrick Rose.

"[Playing with Rose] was one of the first thoughts that popped into my head," Butler said. "He's a great player. He does a lot of different things that make the team go. I'm going to feed off his energy and listen to him lead us. It's going to be fun. It's going to be a great journey."

One thing's for sure, in terms of character, Butler seems to be top notch. Fits right in with what management wants in a player.

Butler just needs to work on getting a consistent 3. I hope he takes a million threes in the offseason.

lol the lockout is gonna wipe out the whole season folks you heard it here first. The players will eventually cave but it will take awhile

Yeah sadly you are probably right. All the owners have other sources of income outside of their teams, they will always be fine. The players on the other hand, majority of them rely on their game checks. So they will eventually give in so they can take care of themselves financially while the owners don't have to worry about that.
