Didn't know where to put this, but I'm sure Joe would love it

Dirty Dangle: Marcus Kruger Is Jonathan Toews Light

There are a lot of people who are really high on Kruger's future...I'm not one of them.

I think he will be a Bolland light by the end of it and not a Toews light.

I know JJ from HB is real high on the offensive upside from Kruger...but I simply don't see it and he has been put in positions to excel offensively. He doesn't have a good shot and he is just an okay passer. The guy does go hard to the net and works his ass of though.

I think he will settle into being a nice 3rd liner in the league but I wouldn't call him a Toews light or even bring up names like Toews, Zetterberg, or Datsyuk (like some have) when talking about Kruger.

I like what he brings and I have said that I think trading Bolland would be doable (I think Bolland is a little overrated) because of Kruger. Hopefully Kruger proves me wrong, but I just don't see him being more than a black hole offensively and a stud defensively.

I agree. I think he's more of a Bolland type. I'd maybe go as far as saying close to Kesler.

He's gotta beef up a little, but so far I haven't seen much on the offensive end that makes me think he's a good two-way center. More of a defensive center.

I agree with him being a Bolland light. Thats why i want to trade bolland this offseason for a 2nd line center

Definitely agree. Would be smart. While Bolland is still high in the market.

Hopefully Kruger doesn't completely bomb. I'd like to see him get bigger this offseason. A lot bigger.

Wow, crazy game on Long Island tonight.

Islanders up 1-0 late in the 3rd. 2 minutes left, the Devils pull the goalie and tie it up 1-1. 8 seconds after New Jersey ties it, Parenteau takes a penalty. 5 seconds into the powerplay, Jersey scores again with 1:20 left on the clock.

2-1 New Jersey.

Bryz taking another shutout into overtime against the leafs.

edit: INCREDIBLE shootout move by Giroux seals the win for Philadelphia.

1st time ever, the NHL plans to broadcast every playoff game this year nationally in the U.S. on NBC, NBC Sports Net, CNBC or NHL Network.

First two games back for Sid, 5 assists.

Malkin with his 40th goal plus Cooke has 4 goals in his last two games.

Pens are fucking solid top to bottom.
