Odds are I think they are going with Vildor and maybe Shelly to start with Johnson next season. They might of saw something they liked in the two at then end of the season with Johnson was out. I mean more rookie contracts you have doing the job, the better if they work out. Be surprised if the draft someone high now.

Seems they at least have a crop of plan B or C options, should the draft & FA not go according to plan. Not totally devoid of playable bodies.

I believe he is still on the roster. He was waived/injured last year and was no claimed so he reverted to our I.R.

He torn his acl on the second day of contact practice last year, there wasn't any time for him to look like a starter. Maybe he opened camp with the starters but I'm guessing that report is mostly BS.

Trufant, Burns both depth pieces.
healthiest one makes the team.
They will take a CB early on in the draft.

I think they will pick a cb in round 1 or 2 also

I liked Burns coming out of college. If memory serves he had a promising rookie year, a solid 2nd year and then regressed quickly.

This is basically just a shot at a high upside low risk CB.

Burns will definitely be bet minimum and Biggs mentioned another executive thought Trufant would be vet minimum too. Either way both will be low
