Its about 600 people on a space ship traveling to a new planet and it will take 3 generations to arrive

Watched Part 1 last night.... it is interesting, though they kinda smash much of the mystery at the end of the first episode.

I am wondering if they intend to try to turn it into a regular show after the mini-series like they did with Battlestar Galactica?

The last episode kinda sucks..I saw it last night..Its a set up for a sequel

Gonna watch it today or tomorrow.... I figured as much.... I am quite sure they wanted to test the waters and try to turn this into a regular series.

They did the exact same thing with Battlestar Galactica.... do a 3 part mini series.... get the viewers hooked.... leave it open.... then run it as a regular series.

Warehouse 13 ended short and weird as **** but I guess at least it got an ending.

Eureka they knew it was coming and they got a bit more time to do an ending, it was something like the Warehouse 13 ending but not quite as short/awkward.

Alphas.... don't remind me.... now I gotta look up the ratings numbers.... the show was getting more interesting.... I was so surprised it got the axe without even 1 more season to wrap things up.

I like the show Haven but I feel like its an acquired taste.... does it surprise anyone else that Haven not only outlived all those other shows, but they signed it to like 3 more seasons prior to the one that just finished airing?

Syfy makes it really hard to get invested in their shows anymore because of how quickly they will turn on a show and axe it without giving it a decent end.

Anyone know what the advantage is to making a 3 part mini-series rather than just making a pilot and trying to get a season made?

3 90 minute parts is like making about 6 episodes of a show... I guess you get a much better introduction and better advertisement?

Warehouse 13 turned out to be a piece of shit imo. Started out whimsical and entertaining, if dumb, and then became just dumb by season 2.

Is Ascension good?

I'm a sci-fi geek, but I find everything on Syfy cheesy and disappointing.
