Houston will acquire what will likely be a late lottery pick, perhaps as soon as 2015, from New Orleans, sources tell Yahoo Sports.

And so it begins... Actually the first domino was Dallas-NYK.

Don't worry, the Bulks FO is going to make it happen James Johnson their way to a title.

Trade cannot happen until FA opens.

This put the Rockets at ~56.6 million.

The Rockets have no first round picks. They do not have enough to offer a max, but if they dump Lin and his 8.3 cap hit they will be in very good shape to offer a lot more than the Bulls. I think the Bulls better working the phones looking for a sign and trade scenario or another cash dump (probably Gibson).

Once again, LaLa isn't going to Houston. Strike this from your mind immediately.

The Rockets get the pick if the Pelicans fall out of first 2/3rds of the lottery but pick before 20. The Pelicans will draft if it doesnt land in between.

so Rockets get a pick that can go as high as 4 but no lower than 19?

how do you mange to get a pick like that when you have no leverage? not only does asik not want to be there but they want to clear cap space aswell

im not beveling it until the full details come out

This is why GarPax suck as GM/President. Omer Asik just got traded for a 1st round pick, and the Bulls can't find any takers for Carlos Boozer when he also has 1 year left on his deal worth about 15 million. GFY, GarPax!

Na, I think its pick 10 through 19. Everything else would stay the Pelicans.

Kevin Garnett can keep LaLa happy in the northeast while Melo travels.

There is this rumor this morning:
The Golden State Warriors may be interested in trading for Chandler Parsons if the Houston Rockets need to create cap space by attaching Jeremy Lin.Lin first played in the NBA with the Warriors.

Parsons will be a restricted free agent and the Rockets would like to re-sign him, but they are also interested in acquiring Carmelo Anthony and/or LeBron James.

The Warriors have a $9.8 million traded player exception.

You see, people who think the Bulls can't find a sucker to take Boozer just don't realize how many fools are out there in the NBA. Asik at $15 million and maybe only one year for a 1st round pick. There is a reason some franchises never go anywhere near a championship and there is a reason some teams always trade their picks, because they wouldn't know how to make a good choice so why bother.

7'0 Center who can play defense is more valuable than Boozer.
