I've only felt the L word with 1 girl, my last ex, but I NEVER said it, and she never did either, I'm positive we both felt it, we were just waiting for the other one to say it first. We both also knew that I was moving out of California and our relationship was eventually coming to an end, so I think that had a lot to do with it. I'm not an emotional guy, and I've always had trouble telling people I love them, just was never comfortable with it. But If I could go back in time, I'd just say it to her. It's way worse to regret not doing something years later, than just speaking your mind and seeing where it goes. I'd say a good 4-6 months If you don't want to look to clingy. But as long as it's not right off the bat, and it's sincere, you should be fine. Make sure you do it in person though.
