I wanted him to work out, but it's clear the Bears needed more talent there and he is not it.

Pickens was projected on most boards as a 3rd. Martin was projected as a 7th or UDFA. Although the results are the same at least Poles didn’t make him a 4round reach.
he took care of that with Hypolite

Hyppolite was a 5th on some boards after his workouts.

Its kinda funny he brings that up because if you look at a lot of the holmes draft picks he has reached on a lot of players, including the ones who hit

He did it again this year

Least the bears didnt reach a round(no homo) to take jack sanborn with a top 20 pick. God bless

His NFL.com draft profile projected him to the 5th round. So, a late 4th is not actually that big of a reach.

Worst case scenario he's a good special teamer due to his athleticism, most late 4th/5th round picks dont even end up that. Hit rate 4th round and on is absurdly low all over the entire NFL

proof, that that this board can talk itself into anything

Proof you are braindead, he was literally a 5th round projected draft pick on NFL.COM and was taken a few picks before the 5th round

I'd say its much better to overdraft a 4th round pick by a round than an offball linebacker in the top 20 by a round.

again you dont understand player projections vs player draft value.

I've mentioned multiple times to you i liked gibbs. Taking a RB that high is stupid, as is taking an off ball linebacker, or a tight end for that matter.

I'm aware of your disdain of drafting a RB in the 1st round but spare me the bullshit that you always liked Gibbs, you called him a back-up gadget player that was unlikely to hold up to the physical demands of the NFL

He is why I was concerned with Poles taking another project DT in the late 2nd.
And now houston messed things up by giving out guaranteed money to a 2nd round pick, so now all the 2nd rounders want guaranteed money
