Avalanche have won 7 of 8, though we did play like total shit!

Just another one of seemingly a gazillion regular season games.....still, how'd you have liked to have paid big bucks to see a game and get that kind of effort for your dollars?

Big bucks? No. But I was highly disappointed with that effort.

I haven't watched too much Blackhawk hockey due to my schedule and such but I was unimpressed overall. Scuderi is his next possession away from a turnover. Thought Hossa was the best Hawk on the ice and Crow played a good game.

As much as everyone bitches about Grim's posts about Toews, he's really been invisible this season.

Roy threw the 1-3-1 neutral zone Forecheck at the Hawks and the only way to beat it is to dump and chase and this isn't a dump and chase team outside of a few of our lesser talented players. Hats off to Roy as his team suffocated Kane all game, though Kane couldn't do shit with any of the other chances he had.

I don't think anyone in this forum has suggested Toews is playing well, despite whatever Grim may claim.

Kept an eye on Toews while watching the game tonight, and I don't notice anything physically wrong with him. If it's all mental, it's one hell of a burden to be lugging around the ice. I'm out of explanations at this point. Whatever the **** it is that's kept 19 from playing to his usual strengths needs to be corrected.

Colorado just seems to give the Hawks fits whenever they play, and I'm sure the Avs' team speed has a lot to do with that. Just frustrating as hell to see the Hawks play so shitty against a team that so many other squads seem to have no issues with.

When you're a team that can actually outspeed the Hawks, they're a challenge. But that's basically rare especially in the west and it's generally just been Colorado or Edmonton.

Well, I did see a positive from Scud in spite of him going 0-60 in 12.5 weeks.

He was actually engaging anyone trying to park in front of the crease. Seabrook and Rosie do it occasionally, but Keith, Hjammer, VanReimsLesbian, Runblad, and Daley are completely allergic to it.

But yeah, he's slow. Still, horrible effort (especially passing) last night. Our boys should be able to hit the broadside of Either Mike or Molly every now and again.

Bad game, but it's just one out of 82 to enter the post season...real effort is needed from April to late June. Go Hawks
