Saw Iron Man 2 tonight and it got me in an Avengers mood so I've been looking up things about Marvel movies and came across this, pretty interesting

I'm actually hoping that the Secret Wars are adapted into a live action feature film. Perhaps one of the most under-rated series in comic book history, and at times with the comic prowess, one of the most over-rated.

Oddly enough. I agree with you somewhat.
Movies have been so shitty lately, I guess if you were to see something, Avengers is better than most, and it's better on the big screen.
We're in the minority though. I'm a big comic book fan, which makes me hard to disappoint with comic movies. But I thought the Avengers were simply OK.

the fighting was great, but the dynamic and the dialogue within the group and just overall was even better
