I also got the first three CDs. Was missing the first one, but found it used on the interwebs and soon afterwards Betke released all the CDs in one boxset with some other tracks thrown in for good measure, the ones that tickled my fancy were the tracks from the Four Tet/Pole split single from a few years back. But guess I need to track that one down at some point in the future.

Did you get the boxset with all the Gas records? Been aching to get them as CDs and was really happy that Voigt re-issued them.

[quote name="roshinaya"]I am familiar with Oval and Mouse On Mars, although have not really explored their catalogue. Mille Plateaux was a great label for glitch music. I like some of Alva Noto's stuff, especially the more ambient stuff. Vladislav Delay and Autechre are huge favourites of mine. I am surprised to see someone else here who likes the more experimental side of electronic music.

Pole is another German artist who uses the glitches caused by a damaged filter (Waldorf 4-Pole) and dub to make music.

That's actually pretty interesting! I like how the "staticy sound" plays into the beat. People come up with some cool shit.

From the UK, Tom Jenkinson aka. Squarepusher. Another favourite of mine. One of the most talented artists in this genre. Plays a mean bass and isn't too shabby on the drums either when he's not banging away on synths and sequencers.

Iambic 5 Poetry from the EP Budakhan Mindphone

Do You Know Squarepusher? from the EP of the same name.

Hello Meow from Hello Everything. Live version

Tetra-Sync, his most epic track from his magnum opus Ultravisitor.

Quite a few tracks here, but this dude makes some really cool stuff. Hadn't listened to his stuff in a while, but after re-visiting these tracks I think I will have to put his albums back in rotation again.

I just have the first 3 CDs, but need to check out the other stuff. I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

Wow!! Never heard of these bands yet tasteful music....Starting out with overseas bands in the late 70's early 80's I listened to bands ....Nektar..Kraftwerk...Hawkwind. Nektar has a website you can join for free and listen to all their albums. Still have all the vinyl from these bands which may be older than some of you posters. My personal favorite is Nektars Remember the future....if you get a chance give it a listen on their website.

To be honest, I am actually not a big fan of their work recently.... but this is just amazing. Glad you liked it!

I haven't hear much of their recent work. I was introduced to them playing Metallica.

Stu,

I know Jesper a bit and keep looking for he's new project (I guess it will take a couple of years). But if what he told me was true, you will be suprised, look for a tourstop in Nashville =)

I cant link at work, but if there's any Bob Dylan fans in here you might like the Swede "Tallest man on earth". IMO a great sing and songwriter.

Wait... so Jesper has already found his North American option? What's with the Nashville hint?

That guy is so talented... didn't he play the drums at first before switching to guitar? ****... join Children of Bodom and make a super band!

Nashville eh? Collab with Miley Cyrus?
