Oh, they are good.

I actually stole the idea from the Hy Vee grocery stores around here. They sell these "chicken grillers" at the butcher's counter. They have the jalapeno ones, called cowboy grillers, bell pepper ones, hawaiian ones, and sometimes pizza ones.

Shit's fire, son.

I wish Hy-Vee was closer to the Chicago area than LaSalle-Peru.

Those are good stores..

There's one near my relatives in Ankeny thats a good one.

I work at Fareway in Dubuque :D All the meat comes from the United States. Nice to know in this day and age. They're closed on Sundays too.

I just had some New York Strips from Fareway tonight. They were goood.

On topic, I also grilled some ABTs (Atomic Buffalo Turds). That's jalapenos stuffed with cheese and wrapped with bacon. Grilled up and delicious.

Bacon....awwwww yeah.

Breakfast at the Hy-Vee is the cat's meow. Unfortunately, we don't have one around here, but whenever we go to visit family in Lawrence, KS we hit that shit up all the time. Rock Chalk Jayhawk, ftw.

I am going to try my first brisket this weekend by stuffing it with a pound of bacon and a red onion before smoking it for about 10 hours. I'll try and get some pics.

Nice! I've smoked a few, but never tried to stuff one.

I'm going to try some smoking this weekend as well. I just got a new offset smoker grill and I'm going to give it a go.

First time ever. I've been reading up on some BBQ forums and I think I have a pretty good idea of what to do. Biggest thing is just going to be learning my smoker and keeping the temp steady.

Every time my family and I would visit relatives in Iowa, we'd have breakfast at the local Hy-Vee.
