You should try working in animal rescue. Starvation, cigarette and acid burns, buckshot wounds, embedded collars... You'd lose your mind over the disgusting things that some people are capable of doing to another living creature.

I couldn't do it. Would tear me up. I do donate to every animal rescue I can. One of my dogs is a rescue and was severely abused.

I couldn't do it. I have caught many pets that were lost and found their owners or a new home for them. Caught a horse once and took him home. Owner didn't even notice he was gone. Wanted to buy him but the woman wouldn't sell. Should have kept him. Beautiful Buckskin quarter horse.

Rango just mauled a young rabbit. Been raining for days and hiding spots are full of water. Didn't see any blood but he didn't move for 5 min. Starting to move now. Give it a few hours if it's still in the yard I'll put it over the fence.

Call animal control if those dogs are really a threat. Serious. It's only a matter a time. People like that should not be allowed to have dogs. We've had many dogs. Couple of German Shepherds, a Rott, we have a Boxer now. None of them were ever vicious unless you were doing something you weren't supposed to be doing. The Boxer is the sweetest dog we've ever had. We took her in and she loves us for it. Loves kids. She's still a puppy.

When I checked on the rabbit it was still alive. Took it to the U of I Vet Teaching Clinic. He survived the trip and they were working on him when I left. Tough little guy so I named him Conte. Sorry about the derail. Not really. Feel good, helped an animal.

I don't think that is pathetic. Its a look into who you are as a person. Means you are fairly selfless. My best friend was like that with one of his dogs. While he was studying auto-body at WyoTech his roommate had a black lab puppy that he mistreated and didn't take care of. Well my friend is a kind person but can be imposing if he wants to be. He basically told him you're a piece of shit and that dog is mine now. Took ownership and care of her. He often times wouldn't eat anything because he only had enough money to get her something to eat.

Conte didn't make it. Vet said no bite marks but he was stepped on. Rango has his first kill.

He was about 8 so 2-4 thousand. Don't think she knew what she had. The horse was built for speed but nobody ever rode him. Too bad.

My cousin has a blue pitt. It's a cool dog and seems like a pussy from all the pitt stories that go around. But cause I know my cousin is an absolute Special person I'm next to that damn dog if he brings it by while the kids are around. Kids love the dog but they don't know any better. It just seems that breed is bipolar and I just can't trust it. But idk what I don't trust more the dog, owner or both

I have a boxer now as well. Best dog ever. Just turned 11 months. Tons of energy and super smart. Very protective of my wife. We had some warranty work done on our house so a guy came over during the middle of the day when I was gone. He sat on my wifes lap until the guy left. Lol I knew the guy so I wasn't to concerned, but my dog was.

Pitbulls can be very lovable dogs it depends on the dogs master and how it is treated in it's first year of life.

I'm a Boxer guy as well. Side note, my female Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix (the rescue) kicked my mom and dad's Pit Bull's ass the only time they fought. She deserved it.
