Bad Tooth

**** me this sucks... got a bad molar... number 3. Started Tuesday and can’t get a root canal until Monday (will be my first).
Fucking miserable and Percocet ain’t cutting it! Quit taking them this morning so I can put whiskey on it.... I’m starting to eyeball the vice grips!

Depends how hungry I get... can’t eat.
The pain is a good appetite suppressant though.
Then again so is Percocet...
Would be cool though... pliers in one hand phone in the other!
Man this sucks though... wake you up middle of night...

pain on the 3rd molar or tooth #3? If the 3rd molar, just go extract that shit. You never use it anyway. If tooth #3, aka the first molar, yes that's a tooth you want to save. I feel your pain. I've had a bad toothache before and it drives you to the point that you just want to take that tooth out yourself

If you can hold out, wait for the root canal and crown... Otherwise time for an implant if you wish.... If the tooth is hot did you at least get some antibiotics? If you have a good dentist, they should have prescribed some antibiotics. If they haven't you have a bad dentist...

I have had root canals on a hot tooth.... No amount of Novocaine or what ever is going to help much... Going to just have to be a tough guy...

One more time, a good dentist will fit you in to look at it and get you antibiotics and pain killers...

Number 3 is upper right side (usually second if wisdom removed... wisdom would be 1).

Although it’s radiating from eye to ear to chin at this point. The Booze is helping...

Yea... I’m on antibiotics as well... he sent me to a specialist because it has a crown. Guy can’t see me until Monday. I got the impression they wanted to give the antibiotics a few days before the drill. They didn’t want to extract unless I requested it... said the tooth is too viable and root canal was best option long term.

As far as pain I’d do it hot at this point...
But to be honest it’s better than yesterday.

Some of the biggest names in history have died from tooth issues. So you may end up in good company.

I would have assumed they would do a root canal before putting a crown on just for this reason you have here.

I feel your pain- I inherited tooth issues from my dad. Had many a sleepless night waiting for the dentist appointment.
Sometimes if I am lucky, getting up and taking the dogs to the park or going for a nice long walk would quiet the pain down... just getting up and focusing on something else really did seem to help.

I’m generally pretty good with pain.
I’ve had many a discomfort... this is a different level of annoyance.
