In fairness, Mayfield may be playing behind the worst pass blocking in the league.

Fairness is rarely a consideration on this forum.
Mayfield is such a massive douche, it’s fun watching him struggle.

Bears and Browns are your two favorite teams? Are you a masochist?
He also enjoys long walks on the beach...over scorching hot coals, while being flogged, and having bug spray shot into his eyes.

Reminds me of this classic

Browns are so deep at skill positions. Bad O Lines are a O Killer.

Yeah, they both such but Mitch is at least likable guy off the field.

We'll see how Baker turns out in year 3 but he's a turnover machine. I don't think that's going away.

He might learn from it

I would take Trubisky because Mayfield is more of a turnover machine. One thing they have in common is that they both can make their WR's look ordinary. Mitch is a single read QB who cant spread the ball and he doesn't throw receivers open, so if you're not Allen Robinson you'll never have a big game. And Odell Beckham Jr. has been held to career low numbers playing next to Mayfield. I would hate to be a WR playing with either two of these guys, because as a fan if I had one game to win I'd take Trubisky because he'd throw less INT's whereas Mayfield is a dude who regularly has 2 or more picks in a game. In a 16 game season, Mayfield has the potential for 20 interceptions.

Wtf is a "second favorite team"? Id rather cheat on my wife than have a second favorite. Its the Bears and nobody else.

I used to feel this way until I lived in different places and acclimated with the culture and the people.

I think the playcalling isn't helping him out either, but there's been plenty of great QBs that have played behind bad O-lines and not completely folded. He looks waaaaaaaaay worse than Mitch does right now.

Do you hope for ties when watching other games?

Baker is so all over the place, it's really hard to say. His highs are higher than Mitch's, but his lows are usually much lower.

As most of you know, the Browns are my 2nd favorite team. It seems as though both of these teams can never get a good QB. You think based on mere chance that one would fall in their laps.

Anyway, which one would you take if you had to win 1 game?
The Browns had Otto Graham, the GOAT.

Mayfield has Brett Favre mentality. Its going to make him look like a stud when he is hot and a dud when he is cold.

Trubs is a one read and I dont know what the fuck to do mentality. You can clean up mechanics and calm down players trying to be heroes. You cant teach whats not in between the ears.

The QB with the lower lows will hurt you more.

I will take the guy who is not as reckless with the ball (or a screaming douchebag).

I think both have different mentalities. Baker is not afraid to throw the ball. He's almost like Favre in the sense that you should expect some turnovers, but he will also get you some TDs. Trubisky is afraid to make a mistake and will not take chances...so you would expect less turnovers, but likely less TDs as well.

Baker =22/31=70% interception to TD
Mitch =21/34=62% interception to TD
Very similar yet terrible.
