Barkley made it to an actual NBA Finals going through a tougher WC with guys like Dan Majerle, Kevin Johnson, and Oliver Miller.

Kevin Johnson was an elite player before injuries derailed his career. I remember watching him manhandle Magic & the Lakers in the '90 West semis. He was incredible. An amazing playoff performer too. Unfortunately, by the time Barkley got there, he was just starting to get injured alot. In a sad and ironic twist, all his injuries stemmed from trying to lift Oliver Miller's fat ass off the ground during practice.

Oliver Miller was Michael Sweetney before Michael Sweetney. :troll:

Excuse me but your statement just made you look Special person, as if this is somthing new from you, LoL.
For 1 of course Barkley got more rebounds than Pippen. He's a fucking power forward, you idiot...he's fucking supposed to.
:obama:

You fail again

"Of course Pippen had more assists than Barkley! He's a point forward! He's supposed to."

You just shot one of your "pro Pippen" arguments in the foot. Is your dumb ass still not understanding this?

And Barkley certainly would not have scored as much either if he had Jordan on his team.........
TRY AGAIN you fucking Heatle.......
:obama:
Very true...it's not like Barkley was scoring 20+PPG on a team with Dr. J, Moses Malone, Bob McAdoo and Mo Cheeks

Oh wait.

You lose again!

Great story bro.

What does any of that have to do with that I said?

Summation:

Pippen had to overcome playing with Jordan on his team, while Barkley greatly benefitted from playing with Mark West and Oliver Miller.

GOT IT!

Exactly...some of the dumbest stuff I have ever read. Barkley never had a second guy like Pippen, Worthy, McHale...yet he had some decent teams in Phoenix and excelled with them. I can't believe there is any doubt Barkley is a legit franchise player...its proven. Unfortunately, some don't want to recognize it.

I guess you could say the closest he had to those guys was Dr. J back in his first few years in the league. The doctor was getting up in years though at that point, but he was still scoring 17 a game at a 47% clip or something like that. There was also Moses Malone and Mo Cheeks, but I guess the argument there is that Barkley was really the 2nd player when Malone was there and that Mo Cheeks wasn't really a sidekick type.

Either way, not saying that Barkley isn't a franchise player, just pointing out that he at one point did have some good help. It was before his prime though, but still.

He had better players with him in Phoenix than he ever did in Philly. Barkley didn't come into the league a franchise player...when he started to make his ascension to that level, those players were old and didn't matter very much.

Just seemed to me like you were doggin KJ as a bad player by lumping him in with Miller & Majerle. That I could not let go. :D

It's mind-boggling that this "debate" has gone on for 3 pages now. Some people just won't ever recognize it.

It's called fact & she's a cold-hearted ***** with a 14-inch strap-on.

Well yes, I noted that by saying it was before his prime, that is before he was a legitimate franchise guy. Barkley's prime was in Phoenix, not Philly that's obvious. I think Barkley was averaging 20 and 10 by his second year though so he was already starting to ascend to that level.

At no part in my entire posting career have I ever said Barkley was not a franchise player....ever..

My only argument is that Pippen also was a franchise player.

However, it is possible to be a franchis player and still SUCK!!!! Barkley is living proof. :troll:
