Celtics have played without KG for a while, and been succesful at it. But he's just such a cornerstone to their defense that I simply don't think they'll have an answer for Derrick Rose. The amount of attention he'll get is going to be insane. We might see both Gordon and Salmons get a ton of good looks in transition. They did so in our game against Boston at the UC, where we won.

I realise Salmons is far from 100%, but he should still be able to knock down open jumpshots. It's his first step that right now seems to be off.

Rose and Gordon play well, but i they take it to a different level b/c of injuries.

Hinrich continues his downward trend at the wrong time of the season, struggling offensively unless he's going iso, but playing decent defense.

Salmons: See hinrich without the iso

Brad Miller doesn't get the chance to walk to the basket off of an eye brow fake, but his passing will be useful as well as his picks.

JoNo gets no burn in the 2nd half despite being our best offensive rebounder and bail out option in the paint.

Tyrus will take too many jumpers early in the offense after making 1 in each and every game. He will not box out. But he will do well every where else.

please, for the love of God, prove me wrong.

lol! indeed. i'd blame it on the fact that i'm just waking from my nap. But that probably has nothing to do with it. In attempt to receive my penance, I wont correct it, so all the interwebs can see my folly.

See if Bulls would of kept Thabo, I think they would of had a better chance of wearing Ray and Pierce down. Hopefully Linton can get some steals when he's on the court. We also need Thomas to jump all over Davis. I miss Thabo ability to pass to Rose and his defense but we need to take this series.

An an optimist long term with my team always and a pessimist short term. I think it allows me to be upbeat overall, without the crushing disappointment of failure in key situations.

Celtics in 7... but this series is such a toss up without KG that I would not be surprised at all if the Bulls pull this out even in 6.

I hope you're right.

I actually do think Rose and Gordon will have overall big series, and Salmons will have 1 or 2 big games as well. But I think we still lose in 7. I think our bigs are going to let the Celtic's wide bodies dominate the glass, and that will be the difference in the series.

I hate to say it, but I have to go with the Celtics in 5. This would have been a drastically different story if Salmons didn't get hurt, but right now, he's a shadow of himself. I watched the Toronto game again, and he could barely move from side to side, which explains why Marion went 12-15. If John was 100%, I would take the Bulls. It sure would help to Luol, if he could just play 15-20 minutes. But it's the same old story...

Noah will have huge problems with Perkins and Big Baby. Noah just isn't strong enough to handle their weight. (Both are over 280 pounds.) Miller will be a huge help here, but he's his age will keep him from playing the 40+ minutes we'll require from him.

Ben and Ray Allen will probably be a wash. Ray Allen played great this year. He's shot the ball extremely well (48% from the field). Rose will outplay Rondo, but he's going to need to destroy him for us to have a chance, and I don't see it happening in the first go-around.

We're going to have problems defending Pierce, with Salmons hurt. He should have a big series.

I'd like to see Vinny go with that 3-guard option once in a while, but I have no faith in Hinrich and his history of choking in games that matter. He's currently on a 1-12 tear.

Celtics in 5.

I agree, (though I think the Bulls will win 2 at home).

With Salmons not 100%, Rose & Gordon will both have to play at their absolute best for us to win games. I'm just not sure that'll happen.
